Un avión aterrizó de emergencia en el Aeropuerto de Ezeiza en medio de confusión

Un avión Boeing 737-800 de Aerolíneas Argentinas que despegó desde Aeroparque Jorge Newbery tuvo que aterrizar de emergencia en el Aeropuerto Ezeiza, en medio de un confuso episodio que despertó las alertas de seguridad de la terminal. Los operarios de la torre de control habían entendido, en una primera instancia, que era por un intento de secuestro. Pero después de varios minutos, la empresa confirmó que había tenido un problema técnico.

Las autoridades de Control Ezeiza accedieron a un segundo contacto con los pilotos del avión y pudieron entender que el problema fue un error en el tipeo de los códigos de alertas. El problema radicaba en la interpretación de la sigla en inglés por parte de la torre de control. Este tipo de lenguaje aeronáutico se basa en abreviar las diferentes situaciones que ocurren durante el vuelo.

Los pilotos habían reportado que un objeto había golpeado la cola de la aeronave y querían chequear qué tipo de daños había provocado. La aerolínea informó que la aeronave Boeing 737-800 despegó ese mismo día rumbo a Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia), ya que no había fallas significativas que pongan en riesgo la seguridad de los pasajeros.

A plane landed emergency at Ezeiza Airport amid confusion

An Aerolíneas Argentinas Boeing 737-800 plane that took off from Aeroparque Jorge Newbery had to land at the Ezeiza Airport, in the middle of a confusing episode that awoke the security alerts of the terminal. The operators of the control tower had understood, in a first instance, that it was for an attempted kidnapping. But after several minutes, the company confirmed that it had had a technical problem.

The Ezeiza Control authorities agreed to a second contact with the pilots of the plane and could understand that the problem was an error in the typing of the alert codes. The problem lay in the interpretation of the acronym in English by the control tower. This type of aeronautical language is based on abbreviating the different situations that occur during the flight.

The pilots had reported that an object had hit the tail of the aircraft and wanted to check what type of damage it had caused. The airline reported that the Boeing 737-800 aircraft took off that same day for Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia), as there were no significant faults that put passengers’ safety at risk. A \ W
