Un A320 de la aerolínea austríaca Laudamotion rechazó el despegue después de un golpe fuerte

Un Airbus A320-200 con registro OE-LOA de la aerolínea Laudamotion, que realiza el vuelo OE-327 el Viernes 1 Marzo 2019 en la ruta Londres Stansted-Viena (Austria), estaba acelerando para el despegue en la pista 22 de Stansted cuando la tripulación rechazó el despegue muy temprano, se escuchó un fuerte estruendo. El avión se detuvo a unos 270 metros (890 pies) por la pista. Se realizó una evacuación de emergencia a través de toboganes. Ocho pasajeros recibieron heridas leves como resultado de la evacuación.

Un pasajero informó que hubo una gran explosión debido a una falla del motor (CFM56), la aeronave se deslizó hasta detenerse y se evacuaron a través de los toboganes. Un observador de tierra informó que salía una racha de llamas del motor del lado izquierdo seguido de chispas blancas justo cuando el avión se había movido unos pocos metros.
