Peruvian Airlines había cancelado sus vuelos a nivel nacional por embargo de cuentas

Este Lunes 30 Septiembre 2019 Peruvian Airlines tuvo que suspender sus vuelos a nivel nacional, tras el embargo de sus cuentas bancarias por parte del Tribunal Fiscal de Aduanas. Esto debido a que la empresa no había cancelado una deuda con la petrolera estatal Petroperú.

Peruvian Airlines canceló vuelos a nivel nacional luego de que el Tribunal Fiscal de Aduanas de Perú embargara sus cuentas bancarias. La aerolínea peruana aclaró que no mantiene deudas más allá de las normales y lamentó que la sanción afecte a miles de pasajeros en todo el país. El embargo se dio luego de que la aerolínea declarara a la Superintendencia Nacional de Aduanas y de Administración Tributaria (SUNAT) que dos de sus aeronaves tenían un costo menor al real, por lo que la institución gubernamental estableció una suma económica e intereses correspondientes, pero las partes no llegaron a un acuerdo. La medida tomada por el Tribunal bloqueó la disponibilidad de fondos, lo que impide cumplir obligaciones de pago con proveedores de servicios operacionales, como Petroperú, teniendo como consecuencia que no pudiera pagar por el suministro de combustible.

La aerolínea peruana declaró estar coordinando el caso entre la Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC) de Perú y las aerolíneas nacionales para que los ayuden a trasladar a los pasajeros afectados hasta que su operación se regularice. La aerolínea lamentó los inconvenientes ocasionados a los usuarios, por lo que se comprometen a brindar pronta solución al problema.

Reanudación vuelos

Peruvian Airlines informó que, gracias al Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones y Promperú, ha conseguido reanudar sus vuelos, luego de la sanción impuesta por el Tribunal Fiscal. Sin embargo, el Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual (Indecopi) se encargará de verificar las operaciones de la aerolínea. La entidad fiscalizadora se asegurará que la empresa cumpla con las medidas de protección para sus usuarios, por lo que destacó personal en los aeropuertos de Piura, Tarapoto, Jauja, Iquitos, Cusco, Tacna, Ucayali, Arequipa y Lima. Indecopi estará coordinando con la Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil, encargada de brindar las autorizaciones a las aerolíneas.

The embargo came after the airline declared to the National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (SUNAT) that two of its aircraft had a lower cost than the real one, so the government institution established a corresponding economic sum and interest, but the parties did not reach an agreement. The measure taken by the Court blocked the availability of funds, which prevents it from fulfilling payment obligations with operational service providers, such as Petroperú, with the consequence that it could not pay for the fuel supply.

The Peruvian airline declared to be coordinating the case between the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGAC) of Peru and the national airlines to help them transfer the affected passengers until their operation is regularized. The airline regretted the inconvenience caused to users, so they promise to provide a quick solution to the problem.

Flight Resumption
