Toque de Queda afecta vuelos en Aeropuerto Internacional Merino Benitez de Santiago de Chile
La República de Chile ha decretado el Toque de Queda en el país suprimiendo la libertad de movilidad desde las 19:00 hs de la noche hasta las 06:00 de la mañana, por lo que existe el riesgo de que los pasajeros que arriben a Santiago de Chile tengan que esperar más tiempo dentro del Aeropuerto Internacional Merino Benítez. La situación excepcional que está viviendo la Región Metropolitana y parte de la República de Chile se mantiene, lo que ha afectado el normal funcionamiento del Aeropuerto de Santiago. Debido al toque de queda, las aerolíneas Latam Airlines, Sky Airline y JetSmart Airlines han debido reprogamar los vuelos, tanto de arribos como de despegues.
A partir de la situación por la que atraviesa Chile hace días, se ve afectada la actividad del Aeropuerto Internacional Arturo Merino Benítez (Nuevo Pudahuel). Las principales aerolíneas que operan en este aeropuerto han solicitado a través de sus redes sociales que los pasajeros estén atentos a la información que publican las empresas aéreas antes de dirigirse al Aeropuerto Arturo Merino Benítez. El Subgerente de Comunicaciones del Aeropuerto Pudahuel, Branko Karlezi, explicó que las aerolíneas continuan trabajando para regularizar sus viajes. “Anoche tuvimos alrededor de 2000 personas pernoctando en la terminal. En la primera noche fueron 5000 y en la segunda 3.600”, señaló.
El portal del Aeropuerto Santiago expresa: “Ante el toque de queda que se activó entre el 19 y 21 de octubre de 2019 en la Región Metropolitana, diversos vuelos serán modificados en su itinerario en el aeropuerto de Santiago. Para confirmar información sobre tu vuelo como reprogramaciones, retrasos o cancelaciones, por favor consulta directamente con tu aerolínea”.
