La aerolínea china Chongqing Airlines recibe primer Airbus A321NEO
Chongqing Airlines ha recibido de Airbus Group su primer A321NEO. La configuración de la nueva aeronave presenta un diseño de cabina de tres clases con un total 
de 208 asientos, incluidos ocho asientos de clase ejecutiva. Según el transportista, su A321NEO operará principalmente en la ruta de Chongqing a Beijing y Shenzhen. Durante la primera mitad de 2020, Chongqing Airlines planea introducir dos A321NEO adicionales.

Chinese airline Chongqing Airlines receives first Airbus A321NEO
Chongqing Airlines has received its first A321NEO from Airbus Group. The configuration of the new aircraft features a three-class cabin design with a total of 208 seats, including eight executive class seats. According to the carrier, its A321NEO will mainly operate on the route from Chongqing to Beijing and Shenzhen. During the first half of 2020, Chongqing Airlines plans to introduce two additional A321NEO.
The airline currently has a fleet of 28 Airbus planes. This includes the A319, A320ceo and A320NEO aircraft. The last type is part of the airline’s fleet since September 2018. Based at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, the airline was created in October 2007 through a joint venture between China Southern Airlines and Chongqing International Investment Company. Its route network consists of domestic services within China, as well as international destinations in Asia, including Vietnam, Singapore, and Thailand.
Airbus presence in Asia
The list of operators of the Airbus A320NEO family continues to grow in Asia. More recently, Juneyao Airlines received its first Airbus A320NEO and Air Macau received its first Airbus A321NEO aircraft in December 2019. Asian airlines represent a large circulation in the Airbus order book for the A320neo family. In October 2019, Airbus delivered the 1,000th aircraft of the A320NEO family produced to the low-cost Indian airline IndiGo. Later that month, the same airline signed an order for another 300 aircraft.
