Eastern Airlines vuelo directo Estados Unidos-Uruguay
La aerolínea estadounidense Eastern Airlines ha anunciado una nueva ruta directa entre Miami y Montevideo hacia el Jueves 24 de Junio de 2021 por primera vez. La llegada de Eastern Airlines es un hito para la conectividad aérea uruguaya en medio de la crisis sanitaria.
La recepción del primer vuelo y el bautismo oficial de la aeronave se realizará este 24/06 en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Carrasco con horario de arribo hacia las 18:45 hora local Uruguay, que tendrá dos operaciones semanales (2Frq/S).
La compañía norteamericana volará por primera vez a la capital uruguaya, siendo su quinta ruta regular desde y hacia Miami. Uruguay continuará con las mismas frecuencias y destinos en junio. Asunción, Ciudad de Panamá, Madrid, San Pablo y Santiago de Chile.
Actualmente, Uruguay no cuenta con aerolíneas de bandera, mientras que Amaszonas Uruguay cerró sus operaciones en Febrero 2021.

The American airline Eastern Airlines has announced a new direct route between Miami and Montevideo to Thursday, June 24, 2021 for the first time. The arrival of Eastern Airlines is a milestone for Uruguayan air connectivity amid the health crisis.
The reception of the first flight and the official baptism of the aircraft will take place on 06/24 at the Carrasco International Airport with arrival time at around 6:45 pm Uruguay local time, which will have two weekly operations (2Frq / S).
The North American company will fly to the Uruguayan capital for the first time, being its fifth regular route to and from Miami. Uruguay will continue with the same frequencies and destinations in June. Asunción, Panama City, Madrid, San Pablo and Santiago de Chile.
Currently, Uruguay does not have flag airlines, while Amaszonas Uruguay closed its operations in February 2021.
