Gobierno insiste flexibilizará restricciones ingreso Noviembre 2021
Ante las críticas de la cámara de aerolíneas y la presión de los operadores turísticos, el Ministerio de Turismo y Deportes de Argentina, a cargo de Matías Lammens ha reiterado que el cupo de vuelos internacionales recién podría ceder en el último trimestre del año, hacia Noviembre 2021. Las autoridades del Gobierno evalúan la posibilidad de abrir las fronteras y recibir turistas extranjeros en el último trimestre del año, con el requisito de tener el esquema de vacunación completo y PCR negativo. “La idea es que en el último trimestre del año ya estemos con la posibilidad de apertura de fronteras y con el ingreso de extranjeros. Eso sería más cerca de Noviembre que a comienzos de Octubre”.
La cuestión sanitaria es lo que sigue primando, mientras se empiecen a estar dadas las condiciones para que la apertura suceda, mientras que se tendría más certezas de una fecha concreta de apertura de fronteras para estos días. Las declaraciones del Gobierno llegan cuando las compañías aéreas internacionales exigen previsibilidad y claridad sobre la reapertura de los vuelos, con plazos específicos, y que se elimine el cupo para no poner en jaque la conectividad del país.
La Asociación de Transporte Aéreo Internacional (IATA), que representa a 290 compañías que aportan en 82% del tráfico global, consideró que la “Argentina sigue dando pasos lentos hacia una reapertura y todavía sin una visión clara para pasajeros y aerolíneas”. IATA reclama que directamente se elimine el cupo a vuelos internacionales.

IATA demands that the quota for international flights be eliminated directly.
