JetSMART conectaría Jujuy con Corrientes a partir Marzo 2023

La aerolínea sudamericana de bajo costo, JetSMART Airlines Argentina, anticipó su interés de cubrir la ruta aérea vinculando Jujuy con Corrientes y eventualmente, Iguazú o Posadas, anticipó el Ministro de Cultura y Turismo de Jujuy, Federico Posadas, a su regreso de la Feria Internacional de Turismo (FIT) 2022. De esta forma dio a conocer algunos detalles del encuentro que mantuvo en la feria internacional con el Gerente General de la aerolínea low cost, Gonzalo Pérez Corral, y con su par de Corrientes, Sebastián Slobayen, en la visita a dicha provincia, definiendo el mes de Marzo 2023 como inicio del servicio aéreo.

La posibilidad de vincular ambas provincias argentinas con un vuelo directo sin pasar por Buenos Aires, se sostiene en el importante desplazamiento de turistas jujeños hacia la provincia litoraleña atraídos por la pesca deportiva y las playas que propone el Río Paraná, mientras que chaqueños y correntinos deciden visitar Jujuy en cualquier momento del año interesados en los particulares paisajes, la gastronomía y las festividades. Federico Posadas sostuvo que “si bien la decisión política de ambos gobiernos es fundamental y tienen como objetivo mejorar la conectividad aérea, la empresa interesada habrá de cumplir algunos requisitos y definir la mejor ruta para que el negocio sea netamente rentable”.

The low-cost South American airline, JetSMART Airlines Argentina, anticipated its interest in covering the air route linking Jujuy with Corrientes and eventually, Iguazú or Posadas, anticipated the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Jujuy, Federico Posadas, upon his return from the International Tourism Fair (FIT) 2022. The possibility of linking both Argentine provinces with a direct flight without passing through Buenos Aires is sustained by the significant movement of tourists from Jujuy to the coastal province attracted by sport fishing and the beaches offered by the Paraná River, while Chaqueños and Corrientes decide visit Jujuy at any time of the year interested in the particular landscapes, gastronomy and festivities. Federico Posadas maintained that «although the political decision of both governments is fundamental and they aim to improve air connectivity, the interested company will have to meet some requirements and define the best route for the business to be clearly profitable».
