Un Airbus A330-300 de Korean Airlines, registro HL7525 que realizaba el vuelo KE-631 desde Seúl/INC, Corea del Sur, a Cebu City/CEB, sufrió un accidente el 24 de Octubre de 2022. El vuelo transportaba 162 pasajeros y 11 tripulantes, había dado la vuelta a baja altura dos veces después de acercarse a la Pista 22 de Cebú, subió de nuevo a 5000 pies y aterrizó en la Pista 22 de Cebú a las 23:07L (15:07Z) unos 55 minutos después de la primera y unos 42 minutos después del segundo intento de aterrizaje. El avión cruzó el extremo de la pista a unos 80 nudos sobre el suelo y se detuvo a unos 360 metros/1.200 pies más allá del final de la pista cerca de la cerca perimetral del aeropuerto.
