Otro aspecto de especial importancia según Lorenzo, es que, a pesar del Brexit, «las líneas aéreas no han dudado en aumentar capacidad e incluso establecer rutas nuevas desde Reino Unido, con lo que la capacidad aérea desde ese mercado sigue creciendo a un ritmo elevado, cercano al 30% y en invierno llegará al 38%».

Según datos de Promotur Turismo de Canarias, las nuevas líneas incluyen conexiones con mercados emergentes para el turismo canario, como Hungría y Rumanía, o de países en los que la falta de conectividad ha lastrado el desarrollo de los destinos canarios en esos mercados, como era el caso hasta ahora del francés, el italiano o el polaco. Dentro de las nuevas rutas sobresale la llegada a Canarias de la compañía italiana Alitalia, que comenzará a operar en el archipiélago por primera vez en la historia con dos vuelos semanales entre Tenerife Norte y Roma.

Además, entre la amplia relación de nuevas líneas y novedades para la conectividad de las islas destacan las nuevas conexiones de La Palma con Reino Unido, Alemania, Suiza y los países nórdicos, el establecimiento por parte de Norwegian de bases en Gran Canaria y Tenerife y las nuevas conexiones de Fuerteventura y Lanzarote con Budapest.

Por aeropuertos, el de Tenerife Sur, con el estreno de 42 nuevas rutas, es el que más nuevas conexiones aporta, seguido por el de Gran Canaria, con solo 2 menos. Lanzarote, con 31, y Fuerteventura, con 25, son los otros dos aeropuertos que más están viendo crecer sus conexiones. Argentina conmemoró hoy en Buenos Aires el 76 aniversario de sus Líneas Aéreas del Estado (LADE), el organismo estatal encargado de realizar vuelos de fomento que unen los núcleos de población más alejados, en algunos casos inaccesibles y sin medios rápidos, con las grandes ciudades del país.

En una ceremonia realizada en el Círculo de la Fuerza Aérea, en el centro de la ciudad, el ministro de Defensa, Julio Martínez, destacó la necesidad de mantener a los pueblos y zonas alejadas del país conectados, sin que sea necesario trasladarse a la capital para realizar un viaje.

«Este no es un acto más, es una fecha que queremos tomar como un punto de inflexión con respecto al rol que queremos que ocupe la línea aérea al servicio del federalismo», remarcó el funcionario.

A partir de noviembre próximo, la nueva apuesta comercial de la aerolínea magallánica DAP será Punta Arenas / Ushuaia, re-lanzando este vuelo regional internacional, uniendo Chile y Argentina en una operación de 2 vuelos semanales (miércoles y sábados). Esta nueva ruta permitirá conectar con las navegaciones en crucero por el Canal Beagle y con el itinerario patagónico de vuelos que inician en Punta Arenas.

Se trata sólo del principio de un macro proyecto que busca unir con un puente aéreo ambos países en la zona austral. Esta demanda -la cual las líneas aéreas tradicionales no están interesadas en cubrir- produjeron numerosas reuniones de directivos de DAP con autoridades de Gobierno de las naciones vecinas dando cuenta de una preocupación a nivel Estado en poder entregar respuesta a la sociedad.

Roque Palacios, director Comercial de Aerovías DAP, quien comentó que “estamos muy contentos por eso. Estamos uniendo las dos patagonias, ese es el objetivo y la filosofía de nuestra empresa”, señaló el ejecutivo anunciando que “están previsto 48 frecuencias” para esta nueva ruta.

“Son muchos los vuelos que se irán sumando de a poco para cubrir tramos que hoy solo se pueden hacer vía terrestre y/o marítima”, indicó Palacios.

A continuación presentamos algunos detalles de los nuevos vuelos propuestos por la aerolínea Patagónica:

Punta Arenas – Ushuaia

A partir del miércoles 9 de noviembre, dos veces a la semana, miércoles y sábados, durante todo el verano. Salidas a las 14:00 horas del miércoles, llegando a las 14:30 a Ushuaia, media hora de vuelo con regreso a las 16 horas, llegando a las 16:30 a Punta Arenas; lo mismo el sábado. “En un comienzo volará el avión BAe, en el caso de que exista poca demanda, vamos a utilizar el Twin Otter que tiene una capacidad de 19 pasajeros”, explicó Palacios.

El director comercial de DAP se refirió además al sistema tarifario, afirmando que “nosotros tenemos dos tipos de tarifas, una para los residentes magallánicos y para los residentes de Tierra del Fuego del lado argentino y después tenemos las tarifas internacionales y público en general; la más económica es de 259 dólares ida y vuelta más tasas de embarque, (que a valor del dólar del 1 de septiembre es de $176.367), las tasas de embarque son entre 40-45 dólares aproximadamente y después tenemos las tarifas para el resto de la humanidad, la más económica es de 199 dólares de ida, por lo que el viaje redondo costaría 398 dólares. Estas tarifas con a riesgo absoluto de la empresa, no existe subsidio alguno”, comentó Palacios.

Segundo vuelo Punta Arenas – Balmaceda

Esto es solo el principio, el proyecto de Aerovías DAP es unir Magallanes con toda la Patagonia, tanto chilena como argentina. “Empezamos el año pasado con Punta Arenas-Balmaceda, este año vamos a poner un segundo vuelo a Balmaceda a partir del 15 de diciembre, vamos a tener dos vuelos con el BAe”, aseguró el directivo y añadió que “tenemos un proyecto de volar de Balmaceda a Comodoro Rivadavia, la capital del petróleo argentino, esto para marzo/abril de 2017″.

Otro de los proyectos comerciales de DAP, tiene que ver con la ruta Punta Arenas-Río Grande, contemplado para marzo o abril de 2017, además, durante el próximo verano, se anunciaron vuelos Puerto Natales-Calafate, aprovechando las nuevas posibilidades que ofrecerá el nuevo aeropuerto de la capital de Última Esperanza.

Temuco – Neuquén

Las novedades no se detienen, y al parecer DAP se tomó bien en serio eso de unir la Patagonia. “Después tenemos el vuelo Temuco-Neuquén, ese está buenísimo porque lo hacemos con apoyo del Gobierno Regional de la Araucanía y con la Gobernación de la Provincia de Neuquén. Van a ser vuelos corporativos más que nada, también sería para el 2017 a partir del primer semestre calculamos poder implementar todos estos proyectos”, aseguró Palacios.

Sistema de reservas electrónica desde cualquier parte del mundo

Roque Palacios se mostró más que satisfecho ya que “a partir del 1 de septiembre Aerovías DAP está en todos los sistemas de reservas del mundo para que cualquier agencia de viajes que esté en Australia, o en Estados Unidos va a poder comprar por sistema los vuelos de DAP, eso es muy importante porque nos da una presencia a nivel global que hasta el día de hoy no teníamos. Ese desarrollo costó mucho también, parece sencillo pero no fue fácil, estamos con mucha energía para sacar vuelos que integren las dos patagonias, la argentina y la chilena, sacando mucha fuerza para poder dar respuesta a la integración que tanto necesitaba la Patagonia”, concluyó detallando el ejecutivo de la tradicional compañía aérea magallánica.

Nueva temporada

También hay novedades para el turismo en helicóptero. Se han diseñado circuitos aéreos especiales desde Puerto Natales, a hoteles específicos dentro del Parque Nacional Torres del Paine, Cabo de Hornos y más, así como excursiones sobrevolando las Torres del Paine, Glaciar Grey, programas de Helifishing y Heliskiing (pesca con mosca y ski en los parajes más increíbles de la Patagonia, accesibles solo con helicóptero).

En tanto, Antártica recibe una vez más a DAP, desde su primer vuelo en el año 1989. Programas de expedición de una jornada (full day), con visita a bases científicas, pingüineras, elefanteras y otros, se complementan con la opción de pernoctar en Antártica, en un campamento especialmente dispuesto a orillas del glaciar Collins (overnight).

En este mes de septiembre Aerolíneas Argentinas/Austral inaugurarán vuelos a precios tentadores, como parte de su programa de ampliación de operaciones desde aeropuertos del interior.

Bajo la consiga «Volá desde Córdoba a toda la Argentina, más frecuencias, más ahorro», el grupo Aerolíneas busca potenciar la temporada turística de la Provincia de Córdoba brindado más conexiones a precio competitivo.

La conexión a Río Cuarto, con su vuelo inuagural el próximo lunes 5 de septiembre, es parte de este proyecto y el programa añadirá además traslados y tres noches en Hoteles de categoría para ofrecer paquetes desde $2.439 por persona como precio final. El precio es interesante considerando que el paquete incluye todo menos las comidas.

Otra de las ciudades incluidas es Salta. Aerolínea será la primera en Sudamérica en operar la moderna aeronave

Potencia y eficiencia, esa es la característica del Airbus A320neo, la moderna aeronave recibida por el grupo LATAM Airlines, la primera compañía en Sudamérica que operará este gigante del aire.

El presidente y director Ejecutivo de Airbus, Fabrice Brégier, presentó y entregó aeronave al director del Grupo LATAM Airlines, Enrique Cueto, y a otros directivos de la compañía, en la sede de Toulouse del fabricante francés.

La aeronave apoyará la operación en la red doméstica y regional de LATAM, transportando pasajeros en Latinoamérica.

“Una vez más, nuestros pasajeros tendrán la oportunidad de ser los primeros en el continente en volar este Airbus, demostrando nuestro compromiso por ofrecer la flota con la tecnología más avanzada, eficiente y cómoda”, comentó Enrique Cueto, CEO del grupo aerocomercial.

La familia A320neo incorpora la más moderna tecnología, incluyendo motores de nueva generación y ‘Sharklets’ en sus alas, que juntos entregan más del 15 por ciento de ahorro de combustible desde el comienzo de las operaciones.

La flota de LATAM incluirá 67 aviones A320neo -variantes A320neo y A321neo- y debe recibir una aeronave más a fines de 2016. En total, el grupo de aerolíneas tiene más de 250 aviones Airbus en operación.AIRGWAYS ® Icon-AW

It will be the first airline in South America to operate modern aircraft

Power and efficiency, that is the feature of the Airbus A320neo, modern aircraft received by the LATAM Airlines Group, the first company in South America to operate this giant air.

President and CEO of Airbus, Fabrice Brégier, presented and delivered aircraft to the Director of LATAM Airlines Group, Enrique Cueto, and other company executives at the headquarters of the French manufacturer Toulouse.

The aircraft will support the operation in the domestic and regional network of LATAM, ferrying passengers in Latin America.

«Once again, our passengers will have the opportunity to be the first on the continent to fly the Airbus, demonstrating our commitment to provide the fleet with the most advanced, efficient and convenient technology,» said Enrique Cueto, CEO of aerocomercial group.

The A320neo family incorporates the latest technology, including new-generation engines and ‘Sharklets’ on its wings, which together provide more than 15 percent of fuel since the beginning of operations.

LATAM fleet includes 67 aircraft A320neo and A320neo -variantes A321neo- and should receive more aircraft by the end of 2016. In total, the airline group has more than 250 Airbus aircraft in operation. A\W
