Demoras en A340 de Surinam Airways

Vuelos desde Paramaribo a Amsterdam-Schiphol fue el viernes pasado porque el Airbus A340 que era para el transporte de los pasajeros tuvo que ser reparado.

«Las grandes partes del mundo se encuentran actualmente en el medio de la temporada de vacaciones,» Surinam Airways explicó en un mensaje de disculpa en Facebook a los pasajeros. El defecto ha sido subsanado. Lunes por la noche (hora local) los pasajeros finalmente arribaron a Paramaribo.

Flights from Paramaribo to Amsterdam-Schiphol was last Friday because the Airbus A340 which was for the transport of passengers had to be repaired.

Een vlucht van Paramaribo naar Amsterdam en een vlucht van Schiphol naar Paramaribo gingen afgelopen vrijdag niet door, omdat de Airbus A340 die de passagiers had moeten vervoeren eerst moest worden gerepareerd.

Het defect is inmiddels verholpen. Maandagavond (lokale tijd) konden de passagiers in Paramaribo eindelijk op het vliegtuig stappen. De Airbus landt dinsdag tegen het middaguur op Schiphol. De mensen die van hier naar Suriname wilden, zijn daar maandagavond aangekomen.

Surinam Airways heeft in het verleden meermaals te kampen gehad met problemen met haar A340. Het is het enige toestel dat wordt ingezet op verre vluchten. A \ W

La tormenta tropical «Emily» se formó el lunes por la mañana en la costa oeste de Florida, pero parecía que el sistema estaba causando retrasos, algunos largos, pero pocas cancelaciones

Emily llegó a tierra el lunes y fue rápidamente degradada a una depresión tropical. Se prevé que el sistema se mueva a través del centro del estado y hacia el Atlántico el martes.

A partir de las 5:45 p.m. ET, se registraron pocas cancelaciones como resultado de la tormenta en aeropuertos en el sur y el centro de la Florida, de acuerdo con FlightAware. Tropical Storm «Emily» in Florida

Tropical Storm «Emily» formed Monday morning on the west coast of Florida, but it appeared that the system was causing delays, some long, but few cancellations

Emily landed on Monday and was quickly demoted to a tropical depression. The system is expected to move through the center of the state and into the Atlantic on Tuesday.

From 5:45 p.m. ET, there were few cancellations as a result of the storm at airports in southern and central Florida, according to FlightAware. Delays, however, were more problematic. No large airline had issued flexible weather exemptions for Emily, and it seemed increasingly likely that none would.

Delays had become a nuisance for passengers in the region on Monday afternoon. Approximately one-third of the day’s flights spent 15 minutes or more in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. In Orlando, about 15% of the day’s flights were operating late, according to FlightAware. Some flights were hit with delays of about two hours.

There were few cancellations that were reported at any of the airports on the road to the storm. Airlines and airports monitor the latest developments in the storm until Emily moves out of the area. A \ W

Aerolíneas Argentinas incorporó su 42º Boeing 737 Next Generation

Aerolíneas Argentinas incorporó un nuevo Boeing 737-800 registro LV-GVA. El nuevo avión se suma al plan de renovación de flota pendiente a homogeneizar la flota hacia la seria 800. De ese modo, la compañía cuenta ahora 42 aeronaves Boeing en sus versiones 700 y 800, para operar vuelos de cabotaje y regionales. El Boeing 737-800 pedido para Aerolíneas Argentinas directo de fábrica es el SN:60499 LN:6488. Está propulslado por dos CFMI CFM56-7B.

El Boeing 737-800 despegó con vuelo AR1089 de Boeing Field Seattle Airport (BFI) efectuando la ruta de entrega haciendo escala en Punta Cana Airport (PUJ), con destino final el Aeropuerto internacional de Ezeiza. El nuevo Boeing 737-800 tocó suelo argentino arribando al Aeropuerto Internacional de Ezeiza, Argentina directamente desde la fábrica de Boeing, en Seattle, Estados Unidos. El nuevo avión tuvo su primer vuelo el 26 de julio, al completar la ruta Aeroparque-Comodoro Rivadavia-Aeroparque.

El nuevo 737-800, con una configuración de 170 asientos, 8 en Club Economy y 162 en clase Económica, permitirá cubrir la creciente oferta de servicios producto del aumento en sus frecuencias de vuelos y sumatoria de nuevos destinos, como los corredores federales y el centro de distribución recientemente inaugurado en la ciudad de Córdoba.

«Aerolíneas sigue creciendo. El lunes pasado fue récord histórico de pasajeros volando. Ahora sumamos un nuevo avión más que significa más capacidad y más calidad para que los argentinos sigan eligiéndola. De esta manera, la aerolínea de bandera será la primera de América Latina en volar el modelo MAX, una aeronave de última generación mucho más moderna y eficiente, que permitirá ofrecer un mejor servicio a los pasajeros.

Aerolíneas Argentinas incorporated into the new Boeing 737-800 LV-GVA registration. The new aircraft is added to the pending fleet renewal plan that homogenizes the fleet towards the 800 series. Thus, the company now has 42 Boeing 737 700’s and 800’s series aircraft, to operate coastal and regional flights. The Boeing 737-800 order for Aerolíneas Argentinas direct factory is SN 60499 LN: 6488. It is powered by CFMI CFM56-7B.

The Boeing 737-800 took off with flight AR1089 from Boeing Field Seattle Airport (BFI), making the final stop at Punta Cana Airport (PUJ), with final destination at Ezeiza International Airport. The new Boeing 737-800 touched Argentine soil at the Ezeiza, Argentina International Airport directly from the Boeing plant in Seattle, USA. The new airplane had its first flight on July 26, completing the route Aeroparque-Comodoro Rivadavia-Aeroparque.
