Comisión Europea ha autorizada el control conjunto del Aeropuerto London City por KIA, Aimco, Ontario Teachers’ y Borealis

La Comisión Europea ha autorizado este miércoles el control conjunto del Aeropuerto London City por parte del fondo soberano Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), el fondo de inversión canadiense Borealis, el plan de pensiones también canadiense Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan y Alberta Investment Management Corporation (Aimco).

La Comisión Europea con sede en Bruselas, Bélgica, considera que tendrá un impacto «limitado» en la estructura de mercado. Bruselas ha explicado en un comunicado que la adquisición propuesta cumple con las normas europeas de competencia porque tendrá un impacto «limitado» en la estructura de mercado. La transacción ha sido examinada por el Ejecutivo comunitario mediante el procedimiento simplificado que se utiliza en los casos menos problemáticos.
