Latam Airlines tendrá tres vuelos semanales directos de Santiago de Chile a San Juan

El Gobierno de Argentina quiere realizar una nueva Audiencia Pública para septiembre

Airbus invertirá en la importación de máquinas automatizadas que permitirán duplicar capacidad de producción diaria

El fabricante europeo de aeronaves Airbus incrementa la producción incorporando máquinas automatizadas, más trabajadores e inversión de U$D100 millones de dólares en Querétaro, México.

La empresa concluirá este año un plan de inversión de 100 mdd que sirvió, entre otros, para adquirir 17 máquinas de nueva generación que en 30 minutos cortan una de las piezas centrales que conforman las puertas de las aeronaves. De inicio llegaron nueve máquinas y la primera empezó a operar hace cuatro meses.

“Recientemente estamos incorporando las máquinas de mecanizado que permite reducir 40% los tiempos, y forma parte del plan inicial”, dijo en entrevista Francisco Navarro, director general de Airbus Helicopters en México.

Uno de los objetivos que se trazó la división de Airbus en este complejo, es duplicar la capacidad de producción a 500,000 horas en un período de hasta cuatro años. “Vienen cambios y mejoras para reducir tiempo”, comentó Fidel Olvera, líder en el departamento de ingeniería en la planta ubicada en el Aerotech Industrial Park.

LA planta verá incrementada la producción permitiendo fabricar ocho puertas diarias, en lugar de las cuatro que producen en un día. Francisco Navarro explicó que iniciaron el proyecto para incorporar la producción de las puertas del avión A330 y está en proceso para que la planta en Querétaro sea la única fuente de suministro de todas estas piezas para Airbus.

Airbus pronosticó que América Latina requerirá más de 2,500 nuevas aeronaves en los próximos 20 años. Esta demanda será impulsada principalmente por el crecimiento de 4.5% anual en el tráfico de pasajeros.

El vuelo 624 de la aerolínea Lacsa con destino a Perú, sufrió un desperfecto en uno de sus motores

Un Airbus A321 de la empresa Lacsa, operada por Avianca, aterrizó de emergencia este jueves en el Aeropuerto de Santiago.

El motor del avión se habría incendiado en pleno vuelo, por lo que debió aterrizar tras un procedimiento de emergencia en el Aeropuerto de Santiago, sin revestir mayores problemas. No existen problemas para sus tripulantes ni pasajeros.
