La compañía China Aviation Leasing (CALC) anunció hoy que ha cerrado un acuerdo para comprar 50 aviones Airbus A320NEO con un precio de catálogo de unos 5.420 millones de dólares

Los A320NEO serán entregados por etapas durante 2023 y el pedido podrá extenderse a otros 15 aviones en función del cumplimiento de ciertas condiciones, según detalló China Aviation Leasing (CALC) en un comunicado.

Con este acuerdo, la firma de alquiler a largo plazo de aviones a las aerolíneas mantiene una hoja de pedidos de 203 unidades con el fabricante aeronáutico europeo.

Este nuevo pedido se produce mientras China Aviation Leasing está ampliando su flota ante el incremento del transporte aéreo en el gigante asiático, que en pocos años superará a EEUU como el mayor mercado nacional de la aviación comercial, según las previsiones de los analistas del sector.

CALC, con sede en Hong Kong y que tiene entre sus clientes a aerolíneas asiáticas como Air China, la japonesa ANA o la tailandesa Thai AirAsia, ha incorporado más de cien nuevos aviones a su flota durante este año, precisó el comunicado.

The China Aviation Leasing (CALC) company announced today that it has closed an agreement to buy 50 Airbus A320neo aircraft with a list price of about 5.420 million dollars

The A320NEO will be delivered in stages during 2023 and the order may be extended to another 15 aircraft depending on compliance with certain conditions, as detailed by China Aviation Leasing (CALC) in a statement.

With this agreement, the firm of long-term rental of aircraft to the airlines maintains an order sheet of 203 units with the European aeronautical manufacturer.

This new order is produced while China Aviation Leasing is expanding its fleet with the increase in air transport in the Asian giant, which in a few years will overtake the US as the largest domestic market for commercial aviation, according to forecasts by industry analysts.

CALC, headquartered in Hong Kong and which has among its customers Asian airlines such as Air China, Japan’s ANA or Thailand’s Thai AirAsia, has added more than a hundred new aircraft to its fleet this year, the statement said. A \ W
