IAG Group toma control de la aerolínea qaustríaca FlyNiki
La adquisición de la línea aérea FlyNiki, por parte del IAG Group ha sido anunciada. La firma del contrato está programada para los próximos días.
FlyNiki fue fundada por el ex campeón de Fórmula 1 Niki Lauda en 2003 con la adquisición de Aero Lloyd Austria, que se convirtió inmediatamente en FlyNiki y más tarde en Niki, se vendió al Grupo Air Berlin en 2011. Luego del reciente fracaso de Air Berlin, Lufthansa confirmó posteriormente que su intento de adquirir Niki como parte de un acuerdo para adquirir grandes secciones de Air Berlin había sido rechazado por la Comisión Europea por razones de competencia.

The acquisition of the FlyNiki airline by the IAG Group has been announced. The signing of the contract is scheduled for the next few days.
FlyNiki was founded by former Formula 1 champion Niki Lauda in 2003 with the acquisition of Aero Lloyd Austria, which immediately became FlyNiki and later on Niki, was sold to the Air Berlin Group in 2011. After the recent failure of Air Berlin Lufthansa subsequently confirmed that its attempt to acquire Niki as part of an agreement to acquire large sections of Air Berlin had been rejected by the European Commission for competition reasons.
