El primer jet regional desarrollado en China, el ARJ21, dio la bienvenida a su pasajero número 100.000 en el segundo aniversario de su operación comercial el jueves
El ARJ-21-700 vuelo UE6665 de Chengdu Airlines despegó del aeropuerto internacional de Chengdu Shuangliu a las 6:50 a.m. y aterrizó en el aeropuerto internacional de Shanghai Hongqiao al mediodía con escala en Changsha, en 
el centro de la provincia de Hunan. La aerolínea por cierto es el primer y único operador comercial del jet de 90 asientos hasta el momento.
El vuelo marcó dos años de operación segura y sin problemas para el ARJ21, ya que comenzó las operaciones comerciales el 28 de junio de 2016, según Commercial Aircraft Corp of China (COMAC), el desarrollador del jet. Al pasajero número 100,000 se le otorgó un boleto de regreso gratis en cualquier ruta operada por ARJ21.
“El ARJ21 ha podido volar bajo todo tipo de condiciones climáticas estipuladas por la regulación de aeronavegabilidad de China”, anunció el jueves el COMAC. Chengdu Airlines despliega el avión en ocho rutas entre Chengdu en el suroeste de la provincia de Sichuan y Shanghai, así como en Wenzhou, en la vecina provincia de Zhejiang, y Nantong, en la provincia oriental de Jiangsu.

The ARJ-21-700 UE6665 flight of Chengdu Airlines took off from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport at 6:50 a.m. and landed at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport at noon with a stopover in Changsha, in the center of Hunan Province. The airline is by the way the first and only commercial operator of the 90-seat jet so far.
The flight marked two years of safe and trouble-free operation for the ARJ21, as it began commercial operations on June 28, 2016, according to Commercial Aircraft Corp of China (COMAC), the jet’s developer. The 100,000th passenger was granted a free return ticket on any route operated by ARJ21.
“The ARJ21 has been able to fly under all types of weather conditions stipulated by China’s airworthiness regulations”, COMAC announced on Thursday. Chengdu Airlines deploys the plane on eight routes between Chengdu in the southwest of Sichuan province and Shanghai, as well as in Wenzhou, in neighboring Zhejiang province, and Nantong, in the eastern province of Jiangsu.
