Airbus Group designa nuevo representante para la Región Latinoamérica-Caribe
Airbus ha designado como nuevo Presidente para Latinoamérica y el Caribe a Arturo Barreira, en sustitución de Rafael Alonso, quien ha decidido retirarse después de completar una trayectoria de casi 40 años en la aviación comercial y alcanzar la venta de más de 2.000 aviones, jugando un papel clave en el desarrollo del fabricante aeronáutico europeo en la región.
Arturo Barreira, que asumió el cargo el 1 Julio 2018, desplegando en su historia de vida con más de 20 años de experiencia en la aviación internacional. En 2012, Barreira fue nombrado vicepresidente de Ventas para Latinoamérica y el Caribe, tras haber ocupado el cargo de director regional de ventas desde 2005. Como miembro líder del equipo de ventas de Latinoamérica y el Caribe, con récord de pedidos sin precedentes en los últimos 10 años, ha contribuido al éxito de la división comercial de Airbus en la región y a consolidar su liderazgo. En su nuevo cargo como Presidente regional para Airbus, reportará directamente a Eric Schulz, Director Comercial de Airbus y Jeffrey Knittel, Presidente-CEO de Airbus Américas.
