Existen muchas teorías sobre la misteriosa desaparición del vuelo MH-370 de Malaysia Airlines
El vuelo MH-370 de Malaysia Airlines desapareció el 8 Marzo 2014, en ruta Kuala Lumpur—Beijing a bordo con 239 personas. A solo 38 minutos de vuelo, el MH370 perdió contacto con los controladores aéreos.
La búsqueda
La primera búsqueda oficial fue lanzada por Australia con un costo de US$ 14.586.800, China y Malasia participaran de la búsqueda hasta Enero 2017. Gobierno de Rusia
Algunos temían que el Gobierno de Federación Rusia estuviera involucrado en el secuestro del vuelo MH-370. El escritor de ciencia estadounidense Jeff Wise afirmó que Vladimir Putin falsificó los datos de navegación del avión para que pudiera pasar inadvertido en el Cosmódromo de Baikonur con el fin de dañar a la esfera occidental.
Ejército EEUU-Taiwán
El ex-Director Marc Dugain de la aerolínea Proteus Airlines, acusó al ejército estadounidense de derribar el avión porque temían que hubiera sido secuestrado.

Teorías conspirativas se alzaron a raíz del otro accidente del Malaysia Airlines, el vuelo MH-017 que despegó de Ámsterdam hacia Kuala Lumpur el 17 Julio 2014 con 283 pasajeros y 15 miembros de la tripulación. Se estrelló en la villa de Grábovo, en el raión ucraniano de Shajtarsk, en el óblast de Donetsk, a 40 kilómetros de la frontera con Rusia, bajo un área de guerra entre facciones de la milicia rusa independentista en Ucrania y el ejército ucraniano. Interpretan que el avión del vuelo MH370 se empleó con fines político-bélico al derribar el vuelo MH017.

Víctimas de teléfonos móviles sonando
Una teoría afirma que debido a que muchos familiares pudieron escuchar un tono de llamada hasta cuatro días después del choque, el avión condenado no podría haber chocado contra el Océano Índico. Diecinueve familias han afirmado que los dispositivos de sus seres queridos sonaron hasta cuatro días después de que desapareció el avión. Se estrelló en la selva camboyana
En Septiembre 2018, el productor de video británico Ian Wilson afirmó haber encontrado el avión perdido en Google Maps.
