GECAS efectúa traspaso A320 de Avianca Brasil a Azul Linhas Aéreas

General Electric Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) ha realizado el traspaso de diez aeronaves Airbus A320CEO de Avianca Brasil Airlines para Azul Linhas Aéreas. La rematriculación los aviones de Avianca a petición de La Agencia Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) analiza la retirada del Registro Aeronáutico Brasileño (RAB). De acuerdo con la agencia, el procedimiento se está realizando tras la solicitud presentada el pasado Martes por la empresa de leasing dueña de las aeronaves, GECAS.

Las primeras aeronaves afectadas a la flota de Azul Linhas Aéreas con dos A320NEO PR-OBR Y PR-OBQ que se realizaron trabajos de pintura y reacondicionamientos de ambas aeronaves. Las rematriculaciones de los A320NEO serán PR-OBQ como PR-YYA y el PR-OBR como PR-YYB. Los aviones pertenecen al leasor BOC Aviation.

El organismo regulador del sector aéreo brasileño informó que la cancelación de la matrícula en el RAB puede ocurrir en hasta cinco días hábiles. Si se confirma la medida, la devolución de las aeronaves debe ser inmediata. El proceso para la retirada de las aeronaves del registro de la nAC Brasil está previsto en el Decreto Nº 8.008/13, informó la agencia. La norma prevé la ágil retirada de la aeronave por el propietario en casos de incumplimiento. Según la agencia, la cancelación de registro reduce los riesgos de financiamiento de activos de alto valor en contratos aeronáuticos, como los derivados de procesos de empresas en recuperación judicial, como es el caso de Avianca.

ANAC Brasil alertó que la suspensión del registro de las aeronaves usadas por Avianca puede generar impacto en los vuelos previstos para los próximos días. ANAC expresó: “continúa acompañando con atención la situación operacional de la empresa, siempre en constante vigilancia en cuanto al cumplimiento de los requisitos de seguridad exigidos en los Reglamentos Brasileños de Aviación Aeronáutica (RBAC) y los deberes de prestación de servicios a los pasajeros”.

Los pasajeros afectados por cancelación de vuelo gozan de los siguientes derechos: reembolso íntegro del valor pagado por el paso; reacomodación en otros vuelos de la propia compañía o de otra empresa que ofrezca un servicio equivalente al mismo destino en la primera oportunidad; o ejecución del servicio por otra modalidad de transporte.

The process for the withdrawal of aircraft from the nAC Brazil registry is foreseen in Decree No. 8.008/13, the agency reported. The rule provides for the agile removal of the aircraft by the owner in cases of non-compliance. According to the agency, the cancellation of registration reduces the risks of financing high-value assets in aeronautical contracts, such as those derived from processes of companies in judicial recovery, such as Avianca.

ANAC Brazil warned that the suspension of the registration of the aircraft used by Avianca could have an impact on the flights planned for the next few days. ANAC said: “it continues to closely monitor the operational situation of the company, always in constant surveillance in terms of compliance with the safety requirements required by the Brazilian Aviation Regulations (RBAC) and the duties of providing services to passengers“.

Passengers affected by cancellation of flight enjoy the following rights: full refund of the value paid for the passage; rearrangement in other flights of the company itself or of another company that offers a service equivalent to the same destination at the first opportunity; or execution of the service by another mode of transport.
