AirHelp presenta el ranking de aerolíneas para 2019

Según un estudio elaborado por AirHelp y publicado este Jueves 9 Mayo 2019. Dos aerolíneas latinas como Aeroméxico y Latam Airlines se se colocaron entre las diez mejores aerolíneas a nivel mundial en 2019, mientras otras dos como Avianca y Aerolíneas Argentinas no ingresaron en la lista.

Qatar Airways ha sido la galardonada en la primer posición con la mejor línea aérea. En Latinoamérica, Aeroméxico se ubicó en la posición número 3 del ranking quien mantiene su posición por segundo año consecutivo, mientras Latam Airlines figura en el sexto lugar, tras aerolíneas como American Airlines, SAS o Qantas Airways.

AirHelp detalló que calificó a las empresas que ofrecen servicios aéreos según su desempeño (puntualidad de los vuelos), la calidad del servicio y la resolución y procesamiento de reclamaciones. Todas las categorías tienen el mismo valor. El ranking se ha elaborado teniendo en cuenta a 72 aerolíneas para las cuales la compañía cuenta con datos estadísticos y siempre acorde a estas tres categorías: puntualidad, calidad del servicio y eficiencia en el procesamiento de las reclamaciones.

Por segundo año consecutivo, Qatar Airways lidera el podio como mejor aerolínea, mientras que Thomas Cook Airlines del Reino Unido sería la peor considerada para este 2019.

American Airlines se ubica en el segundo puesto como mejor aerolínea de este año, seguida de Aeroméxico, SAS Scandinavian Airlines y Qantas. Tras Thomas Cook Airlines se encuentran las compañías aéreas Easyjet, Norwegian, Kuwait Airways, Korean Air y Ryanair que se situarían en los últimos puestos de entre las 72 aerolíneas analizadas por AirHelp. Por contra, otras aerolíneas que destacan por haber sido de las más elogiadas son Latam, Westjet, Luxair, Austrian Airlines y Emirates.

Henrik Zillmer, Director Ejecutivo de AirHelp, ha indicado que algunas compañías aéreas se han visto favorecidas por las condiciones climáticas que han ocasionado un menor número de interrupciones en 2018. “Esto ha contribuido a que American Airlines se asegure el segundo lugar, un gran salto, teniendo en cuenta que la aerolínea se ubicó en el puesto 23 el año pasado”, ha señalado Zillmer. El directivo ha subrayado que las aerolíneas todavía deben mejorar la eficiencia del proceso de reclamaciones y retrasos. “En lugar de cancelar un vuelo cuando saben que el avión no podrá volar, la mayoría de aerolíneas hacen esperar a los pasajeros durante horas en el aeropuerto, ya que no disponen de los suficientes recursos para trasladar a los pasajeros en otro avión o compañía y llevarlos hasta su destino”, ha concluido Zillmer.

According to a study prepared by AirHelp and published this Thursday 9 May 2019. Two Latin airlines such as Aeroméxico and Latam Airlines were placed among the ten best airlines worldwide in 2019, while two other airlines such as Avianca and Aerolíneas Argentinas did not enter the list.

Qatar Airways has been awarded in the first position with the best airline. In Latin America, Aeromexico ranked third in the ranking, maintaining its position for the second year in a row, while Latam Airlines ranks sixth after airlines such as American Airlines, SAS and Qantas Airways.

AirHelp detailed that it qualified the companies that offer air services according to their performance (punctuality of the flights), the quality of the service and the resolution and processing of claims. All categories have the same value. The ranking has been prepared taking into account 72 airlines for which the company has statistical data and always according to these three categories: punctuality, quality of service and efficiency in the processing of claims.

For the second consecutive year, Qatar Airways leads the podium as the best airline, while Thomas Cook Airlines in the United Kingdom would be the worst considered for this 2019.

American Airlines ranks second as best airline this year, followed by Aeroméxico, SAS Scandinavian Airlines and Qantas. After Thomas Cook Airlines are the airlines Easyjet, Norwegian, Kuwait Airways, Korean Air and Ryanair that would be in the bottom of the 72 airlines analyzed by AirHelp. In contrast, other airlines that stand out as having been among the most praised are Latam, Westjet, Luxair, Austrian Airlines and Emirates.

Henrik Zillmer, Executive Director of AirHelp, has indicated that some airlines have been favored by the climatic conditions that have caused a lower number of interruptions in 2018. “This has contributed to American Airlines securing the second place, a great jump, taking into account that the airline was ranked 23 last year”, said Zillmer. The manager has stressed that airlines still need to improve the efficiency of the claims and delays process. “Instead of canceling a flight when they know that the plane will not be able to fly, most airlines wait for the passengers for hours at the airport, since they do not have enough resources to transfer the passengers in another plane or company and take them to their destination”, Zillmer concluded.
