Air China ha solicitado una orden adicional de la familia de aeronaves Airbus A320NEO (18) que se incorporarían a la flota existente de A320NEO/A321NEO (42). La compañía aérea china ha decidido ampliar su flota con la compra de 18 aviones A320NEO a la filial de GECAS, AFS Investments. Se espera que las entregas de los dieciocho A320NEO se completen hacia el 2022, lo que es un plazo muy corto para la entrega de aviones, y supone también, el primer pedido de Airbus por parte de una compañía aérea china desde el 2019.

La rapidez prevista en estas entregas puede venir de que en su momento Airbus fabricó estos A320NEO para otra compañía pero al final no se vendieron, por lo que están en stock a falta de pintura, y otra posibilidad es que las aerolíneas estén terminando prematuramente sus contratos de arrendamiento de aviones debido a la presión financiera causada por la pandemia de Covid-19. En Enero de 2020, China Aircraft Leasing Company (CALC) encargó 40 aviones Airbus A321NEO, sin que en ese momento hubiera un cliente vinculado al pedido.

El precio de compra del paquete de 18 aeronaves no ha sido revelado. Según los precios del catálogo, el contrato tiene un valor de US$ 2.200 millones de Dólares. Air China financiará la compra de aviones con su efectivo, préstamos de bancos comerciales y otros instrumentos financieros, según la bolsa. Según Air China, el tipo de cambio favorable del Yuan chino frente al Dólar estadounidense y la baja tasa de interés del préstamo contribuyeron a la decisión de comprar el avión.

Consorcio multinacional invierte en aeropuerto de Indonesia

La Corporación del Aeropuerto Internacional de Incheon (IIAC) ha formado un consorcio con el operador aeroportuario estatal de Indonesia, PT Angkasa Pura 1 (AP1), y la empresa de construcción local PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) para expandir el Aeropuerto Hang Nadim Batam para 2024, dijo la IIAC en un comunicado. Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) has formed a consortium with Indonesian state airport operator PT Angkasa Pura 1 (AP1) and local construction company PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) to expand Hang Nadim Batam Airport by 2024, the IIAC said in a statement. El Gobernador Rafael Calles del Estado de Portuguesa, República de Venezuela, informó que la inversión en esa obra superó el US$ 1 millón de Dólares y tras su consolidación está previsto convertirlo en el mediano plazo en una terminal internacional de carga para traer más progreso y desarrollo en el Estado de Portuguesa. Este Viernes 19/03 fue inaugurado en el Estado de Portuguesa el Aeropuerto de Acarigua-Araure, anteriormente denominado Oswaldo Guevara Mujica, con el nombre Batalla de Araure, luego de ser reconstruido en su totalidad para la reactivación de vuelos comerciales. El Gobernador Rafael Calles informó que la inversión en esa obra superó el millón de Dólares y tras su consolidación está previsto convertirlo en el mediano plazo en una terminal internacional de carga para traer más progreso y desarrollo al Estado de Portuguesa.

El Gobernador dijo que la central aérea, desde donde presentó su Informe de Gestión y Cuenta 2020, ofrecerá en una primera etapa vuelos nacionales y posteriormente vuelos internacionales, poniendo énfasis sobre todo en la carga aérea como principal objetivo. La inauguración del aeropuerto marca una pauta de desarrollo en Portuguesa, pues no solo permitirá reanudar la conexión aérea del estado con el resto del país sino que posibilitará la exportación de alimentos y bienes que se producen en la entidad, tal como se hace a través de la vía férrea desde el Puerto Seco Batalla de Araure. Igualmente ha adelantado que ha tenido conversaciones con diversas aerolíneas para activar los vuelos comerciales en los próximos días con una aeronave que cubrirá la ruta Araure-Caracas. Se encuentra prevista la activación de rutas hacia destinos turísticos del país, “para que la gente pueda irse un fin de semana de Portuguesa a Margarita, Los Roques o Ciudad Bolívar, por ejemplo”, expresó el Gobernador de Portuguesa.

El Gobierno Municipal de Ushuaia, a través de la Secretaría de Turismo y de la delegación Municipal en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (CABA), mantuvieron una reunión con personal directivo de Aerolíneas Argentinas a fin de elaborar políticas en conjuntos para mejorar la conectividad aérea de la ciudad.

Oscar Suoto, Delegado Municipal en CABA, destacó “la predisposición de la aerolínea para consolidar la temporada turística”. La reunión que involucró al Secretario de Turismo, David Ferreyra, al Delegado Municipal de CABA y el Director de Comunicación y Relaciones Institucionales de Aerolíneas Argentinas, Carlos Figueroa, contó además con la presencia del representante de Tolkeyen Patagonia Turismo, Luis Martínez. En la misma, se presentó la necesidad de aumentar la frecuencia de los vuelos a Ushuaia, así como aeronaves preparadas para el traslado de equipamiento deportivo invernal, junto a otras solicitudes surgidas en la cadena de venta del destino turístico. Oscar Suoto ha remarcado que “poder trabajar en conjunto con Aerolíneas Argentinas facilita aspectos logísticos para los proveedores turísticos y permite iniciar la recuperación económica de un sector muy golpeado por la pandemia”.

Adelantan cancelaciones vuelos por rebrote de Coronavirus

Aerolíneas Argentinas ha cancelado 68 vuelos debido a los rebrotes a nivel mundial y confirman que no habrá viajes de repatriación. El Gobierno de Argentina ha emitido datos oficiales de unos 27.000 turistas en el exterior. Tras un año de que se declarara el Aislamiento Social Preventivo y Obligatorio (ASPO), se adelantaron las cancelaciones de vuelos desde y hacia Argentina. El anuncio de una segunda ola y el miedo a variantes más contagiosas del Coronavirus están haciendo que gobiernos y aerolíneas comiencen a tomar medidas precautorias y restrictivas.

Este Jueves 18/03, desde Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 habían anticipado que las reducciones de vuelos se efectivizarían en Abril 2021. La Decisión Administrativa Nº 219/2021, publicada el 13 de Marzo de 2021, establecía que la Dirección Nacional de Migraciones, la Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) y el Ministerio de Salud debían determinar los cronogramas de vuelos y la cantidad de pasajeros que ingresarían al país.

Aerolíneas Argentinas hasta el momento ha cancelado 68 vuelos: cuarenta correspondientes a 03/2021 y 28 vuelos a 04/2021. De los cancelados de este mes, cinco fueron suprimidos en la ruta Ezeiza hacia Río de Janeiro, San Pablo y Florianópolis. Desde la compañía explicaron que los pasajeros de esos vuelos son reubicados en otras fechas, o en el mismo día si ese destino contara con más de una frecuencia diaria. El resto de los vuelos de Marzo 2021 de Aerolíneas Argentinas que fueron suspendidos iban a partir entre este Domingo 21/03 y el Miércoles 31/03, con destino a Río de Janeiro, San Pablo, Florianópolis, Santiago de Chile, Miami y Madrid. De la misma manera las diferentes compañías aéreas con rutas internacionales continuarán reestructurando sus vuelos, por lo que la sugerencia es entrar en contacto con las líneas aéreas para más información.

Las medidas preventivas que ha continuado lanzando el Gobierno desde Febrero 2021 ha permitido incrementar en un 20%-30% la reducción de salidas al exterior con la Decisión Administrativa Nº 219/2021 emitida por Argentina, lo que ha disminuido frecuencias a México y Europa, Perú, Ecuador, Colombia, Panamá y Chile. Además de aumentar la reducción a Brasil en un 20%, se sumó otro 10% a la de Estados Unidos, alcanzando una supresión de vuelos del 40%.

Sin vuelos repatriación

Actualmente, se encuentran en el exterior alrededor de 110.000 argentinos según datos oficiales, de ellos, 27.000 son turistas, es decir, deberán volver al país en las próximas semanas o meses. Las fronteras siguen abiertas pero, en caso de que la situación sanitaria se complique aún más, serán los mismos pasajeros quienes deban hacerse cargo de todos los costos que conlleve la situación, confirmando desde la Dirección Nacional de Migraciones que no habrá vuelos de repatriación.

IATA aplaza cumbre mundial del transporte aéreo

La Asociación de Transporte Aéreo Internacional (IATA) a anunciado que ha pospuesto la cumbre mundial del transporte aéreo, que debía celebrarse del 27 al 29 de Junio de 2021 en Boston, Estados Unidos, por razones de la situación de la pandemia. El evento de líderes aeronáuticos a líderes mundiales de la aviación, se pospone hacia la próxima fecha 3 al 5 de Octubre de 2021. El Director Deneral y CEO de IATA, Alexandre de Juniac ha expresado: “creemos que es vital hacer todo lo posible para reunirnos como industria cara a cara. Lograrlo servirá para mostrar que las aerolíneas pueden conectar el mundo de manera segura, demostrar la capacidad de recuperación de nuestra industria y confirmar el valor inestimable de las reuniones en persona, facilitadas por la aviación”.

Octavo vuelo de Aerolíneas para traer más vacunas de Rusia

El octavo vuelo de Aerolíneas Argentinas que traerá al país una nueva partida de la vacuna Sputnik V contra el Coronavirus ha despegado esta madrugada rumbo a Moscú en el marco de la octava operación realizada por la compañía aérea hacia la Federación Rusia. El vuelo, a cargo de un Airbus 330-200, matrícula LV-GIF, especialmente preparado para el transporte de carga, bajo el número AR1062, despegó a las 02:29 del Aeropuerto Internacional de Ezeiza y estima su arribo al Aeropuerto Internacional de Moscú/Sheremétievo a la 13:00 hora local rusa [17:00 hs de Argentina].

Operativos Moscú/China

Desde Diciembre 2020, Aerolíneas Argentinas se encuentra realizando operaciones de vuelo especiales con el objetivo de traer vacunas al país. En los siete vuelos completados hacia y desde la capital de la Federación Rusa se trajeron 2.799.000 dosis de Sputnik V. El nuevo operativo se concreta luego de que el Viernes 19/03 arribara el séptimo vuelo desde Moscú. Adicionalmente se ha efectuado un vuelo a Beijing, República Popular China, en el cual vinieron 908.000 dosis de la vacuna producida por Sinopharm. Hasta el momento, la cantidad de vacunas que llegaron al país en vuelos de Aerolíneas Argentinas es de 3.707.000.

El CEO de Aerolíneas Argentinas Pablo Ceriani ha expresado mediante un tuit publicado este 20/03 en la red social en el que indica que “luego de recibir ayer la séptima operación desde Rusia, podemos confirmar que a las 02:30 a.m. despega el octavo vuelo de Aerolíneas con destino a Moscú para traer al país más dosis de la vacuna Sputnik V”.

The CEO of Aerolíneas Argentinas Pablo Ceriani has expressed through a tweet published this 03/20 on the social network in which he indicates that “after receiving yesterday the seventh operation from Russia, we can confirm that the eighth flight takes off at 02:30 am of Aerolíneas bound for Moscow to bring to the country more doses of the Sputnik V vaccine”.
