Stelia entrega primeras piezas fuselaje A321XLR

Stelia Aerospace ha entregado a Airbus Group la mitad de los elementos que forman parte del fuselaje delantero del primer Airbus A321XLR. Las tres secciones que forman el morro del Airbus A321XLR producidas por Stelia han sido ensambladas en las factorías del consorcio europeo para la nueva línea eXtra Long Range. Las factorías de Méaulte y Rochefort de Stelia Aerospace han hecho entrega a Airbus de tres de los seis elementos que forman el fuselaje delantero del Airbus A321XLR del ala hasta el morro.

Stelia es la responsable del diseño, fabricación y montaje de los diferentes elementos que forman estas secciones, y que, para el A321XLR, han precisado de varias modificaciones de diseño con respecto a estas mismas secciones de otros A321CEO y A321NEO. La sección trasera del fuselaje delantero en la esquina inferior izquierda, parte de la sección central del fuselaje delantero. Las diferentes piezas que forman las secciones han sido producidas en las factorías de Stelia en Marruecos y Túnez partes elementales y sub-ensamblajes equipados; mientras que las de Méaulte y Rochefort se encargan del montaje final de las mismas para su entrega a Airbus. En paralelo, en Toulouse y Rochefort se encuentran repartidos los equipos de diseño y desarrollo de la línea A321LR (Long Range).

Stelia delivers first A321XLR fuselage parts

Stelia Aerospace has delivered to Airbus Group half of the elements that are part of the forward fuselage of the first Airbus A321XLR. The three sections that make up the nose of the Airbus A321XLR produced by Stelia have been assembled in the factories of the European consortium for the new eXtra Long Range line. Stelia Aerospace’s Méaulte and Rochefort factories have delivered three of the six elements that make up the Airbus A321XLR’s forward fuselage from wing to nose to Airbus.

Stelia is responsible for the design, manufacture and assembly of the different elements that make up these sections, and that, for the A321XLR, have required several design modifications with respect to these same sections of other A321CEO and A321NEO. The rear section of the forward fuselage in the lower left corner, part of the center section of the forward fuselage. The different pieces that make up the sections have been produced in the Stelia factories in Morocco and Tunisia, elementary parts and equipped sub-assemblies; while those of Méaulte and Rochefort are in charge of the final assembly of the same for their delivery to Airbus. At the same time, the design and development teams for the A321LR (Long Range) line are distributed in Toulouse and Rochefort.
