Vuelo inaugural Buenos Aires—Posadas

La aerolínea de bajo costo JetSmart Airlines Argentina ha inaugurado una nueva ruta aerocomercial Buenos Aires y Misiones se concretó en la tarde del Martes 10/08 a las 14:36 hs. proveniente del Aeropuerto Jorge Newbery hacia el Aeropuerto Internacional Posadas/Libertador Gral. San Martín. El enlace estuvo realizado por un Airbus A320-200CEO matrícula LV-HVT. La ultra low-cost operará inicialmente tres vuelos semanales (3Frq/S) entre Buenos Aires/Posadas y Aeroparque, los Martes, Jueves, Sábados, sumando una cuarta frecuencia los Domingos a partir del 12 de Septiembre de 2021.

Este es el segundo destino que JetSmart Argentina ha inaugurado en el período 3Q2021, después de El Calafate, inaugurando una nueva etapa de expansión a la que se sumará este Viernes 13/08 la ciudad de Corrientes y, en Octubre 2021, Comodoro Rivadavia y Jujuy.

“Agradezco al gobernador por su hospitalidad. Ha sido un artífice muy importante para que JetSmart llegue a Posadas, demostrando interés en que una tercera línea aérea llegue aquí. Posadas es una ciudad increíble. Viendo los registros históricos de pasajeros prepandemia, entre Enero y Julio de 2019 movilizaron más de 200.000 pasajeros, y en el mismo período de este año son solo 50.000, por lo que estamos a solo un cuarto de lo que la ciudad puede dar”, comentó Gonzalo Pérez Corral, en declaraciones realizadas durante una conferencia de prensa al arribo. De esta manera, el próximo mes de Septiembre, JetSmart se convertirá en la segunda compañía con mayor oferta de asientos en Posadas, representando el 31% de la capacidad.

Actualmente, Flybondi Líneas Aéreas mantiene el liderazgo con el 40% de la oferta al operar cinco vuelos semanales en aeronaves Boeing 737-800, mientras que Aerolíneas Argentinas cae al tercer lugar con el 29% de la oferta mediante un vuelo diario en aeronaves Embraer E190. El Aeropuerto Posadas ha visto incrementado sus frecuencias aéreas como nunca antes visto, lo que permitirá augurar un muy buen desempeño hacia la temporada de verano en Argentina.

JetSmart Argentina opera actualmente 17 rutas en Argentina con destinos a Bariloche, Córdoba, El Calafate, Iguazú, Mendoza, Neuquén, Salta y Tucumán, las que se complementan con operaciones interprovinciales y las nuevas rutas Posadas, Corrientes, Comodoro Rivadavia y Jujuy. La compañía ultra low-cost tiene en su flota cuatro A320-200CEO (4), y espera conseguir el permiso de amarre en Aeroparque para incorporar un quinto avión, según comentó la semana pasada en una conferencia Gonzalo Pérez Corral.
