Rápida implementación ingreso al país
Canadá prohibirá radicalmente el ingreso de pasajeros sin doble dosis de la vacuna contra el Coronavirus, aunque se tenga una PCR negativo. El Ministerio de Transportes canadiense, a cargo de Omar Alghabra, ha anunciado que todos los pasajeros y de trenes del país sólo podrán abordar sus medios de transporte si tienen las dos dosis de vacunas contra el Covid. “Tan pronto como técnicamente podamos exigirlo, nunca después del final de octubre, el gobierno de Canadá exigirá a todos los empleados de las empresas de aviación, ferroviarias o marítimas estar vacunados. La obligación se extiende a los pasajeros y a quienes pasen la noche en uno de estos vehículos, como es el caso de un crucero”. El Ministerio de Transporte no ha establecido una fecha de aplicación de la nueva normativa.
Al mismo tiempo, prácticamente todas las grandes aerolíneas americanas ya están exigiendo inicialmente a sus empleados que estén vacunados para poder atender al público. Las dos grandes aerolíneas canadienses, WestJet y Air Canada se sumaron a la postura del gobierno y dijeron que colaborarán en la rápida implementación de estos cambios. Por el momento, en Estados Unidos no se pide la vacunación completa a los viajeros.

Canada will radically prohibit the entry of passengers without a double dose of the Coronavirus vaccine, even if they have a negative PCR. At the same time, practically all the big American airlines are already initially requiring their employees to be vaccinated in order to serve the public. The two major Canadian airlines, WestJet and Air Canada joined the government’s position and said they will collaborate in the rapid implementation of these changes. At the moment, travelers in the United States are not required to fully vaccinate.
