Viva recibe aprobación de la Aerocivil para volar a Argentina
La Aeronáutica Civil de Colombia aprobó la petición de la aerolínea Viva, formalmente Fast Colombia SAS, para volar desde su hub de operaciones desde Medellín hacia Buenos Aires y Córdoba. La aerolínea low cost había estado proyectando volar a Argentina solicitando los permisos correspondientes desde mediados de 2021, mientras resta las aprobaciones respectivas desde la República Argentina.
Actualmente, entre Colombia y Argentina existían previa a la pandemia tres conexiones diarias entre Bogotá y Buenos Aires: Avianca Airlines (2Frq/D) y Aerolíneas Argentinas (1Frq/D). Los organismos de Colombia y Argentina confirmarán próximamente una nueva ruta entre Medellín con los dos destinos argentinos Buenos Aires y Córdoba, a partir del 2022 que permitirá ampliar mas servicios hacia la América meridional.
El Secretario Ejecutivo del Instituto Nacional de Promoción Turística de Argentina (INPROTUR), Ricardo Sosa, explicó en su momento la importancia de estas nuevas rutas: “No solo queremos recuperar las frecuencias que teníamos si no aumentarlas y generar nuevas conexiones para cuando la situación sanitaria lo permita y las fronteras se reabran”.
Avianca pidió a la Aeronáutica Civil colombiana ampliar su oferta hacia destinos de Argentina. Avianca ha solicitado tres nuevas rutas entre Medellín y Buenos Aires; Bogotá y Córdoba y Cali con Buenos Aires. Las rutas serán operadas con Airbus A319 y Airbus A320NEO. Así mismo, Viva agregó una ruta más a la solicitud a la Aerocivil entre Bogotá—Buenos Aires con siete frecuencias semanales, lo que se sumará a las rutas entre Medellín y Córdoba, Medellín—Buenos Aires, hasta con seis vuelos semanales (6Frq/S).

Viva receives approval from Aerocivil to fly to Argentina
The Aeronáutica Civil de Colombia approved the request of the airline Viva, formally Fast Colombia SAS, to fly from its hub of operations from Medellín to Buenos Aires and Córdoba. The low cost airline had been planning to fly to Argentina requesting the corresponding permits since mid-2021, while remaining the respective approvals from the Argentine Republic.
Currently, between Colombia and Argentina there were three daily connections between Bogotá and Buenos Aires before the pandemic: Avianca Airlines (2Frq/D) and Aerolíneas Argentinas (1Frq/D). The organizations of Colombia and Argentina will soon confirm a new route between Medellín with the two Argentine destinations Buenos Aires and Córdoba, starting in 2022 that will allow expanding more services to South America.
The Executive Secretary of the National Institute for Tourism Promotion of Argentina (INPROTUR), Ricardo Sosa, explained at the time the importance of these new routes: “We not only want to recover the frequencies we had, but to increase them and generate new connections for when the health situation allow it and the borders are reopened”.
Avianca asked the Colombian Civil Aeronautics to expand its offer to destinations in Argentina. Avianca has requested three new routes between Medellín and Buenos Aires; Bogotá and Córdoba and Cali with Buenos Aires. The routes will be operated with Airbus A319 and Airbus A320NEO. Likewise, Viva added one more route to the request to Aerocivil between Bogotá—Buenos Aires with seven weekly frequencies, which will be added to the routes between Medellín and Córdoba, Medellín—Buenos Aires, with up to six weekly flights (6Frq/S).
