Low cost canadiense inaugura destino mexicano
La aerolínea canadiense, Flair Airlines ha iniciado operaciones entre las ciudades de Vancouver, Canadá y Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco el Martes 25/10. El nuevo destino tendrá dos frecuencias semanales (2Frq/S) los Martes y Sábados hacia este destino turístico mexicano. Flair Airlines continúa avanzando con más rutas a destinos de ocio. Emplea para su nueva ruta Vancouver/YVR—Puerto Vallarta/PVR los Boeing 737-8 MAX de última generación.
“Puerto Vallarta es nuestro nuevo destino y estamos felices de ofrecer a los canadienses y mexicanos esta económica opción para viajar, siendo México un importante mercado para la aerolínea. Hemos visto la demanda por tener vuelos de Canadá a destinos turísticos de playa y sol, así que tener esta nueva ruta cumple precisamente con esta solicitud”, aseguró Garth Lund, CEO del Departamento Comercial de Flair Airlines.
“El mercado canadiense es uno de los más importantes para el destino todo el año y principalmente durante esta temporada de otoño-invierno, donde los viajeros de Canadá eligen visitarnos por nuestro cálido clima y gran hospitalidad. La llegada de Flair Airlines permitirá a la ciudad tener un histórico cierre de año, con un destacado crecimiento que beneficiará a toda la industria turística del puerto”, aseguró Luis Villaseñor, Director General del Fideicomiso Público para la Promoción y Publicidad Turística de Puerto Vallarta.
Flair Airlines ofrecerá un promedio de 1.512 asientos mensuales. La aerolínea de presupuesto ha incrementado sus servicios en México como parte de la expansión en la región.

Canadian low cost inaugurates Mexican destination
The Canadian airline, Flair Airlines has started operations between the cities of Vancouver, Canada and Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco on Tuesday 10/25. The new destination will have two weekly frequencies (2Frq/S) on Tuesdays and Saturdays to this Mexican tourist destination. Flair Airlines continues to move forward with more routes to leisure destinations. It uses the latest generation Boeing 737-8 MAX for its new route Vancouver/YVR—Puerto Vallarta/PVR.
“Puerto Vallarta is our new destination and we are happy to offer Canadians and Mexicans this affordable option to travel, with Mexico being an important market for the airline. We have seen the demand to have flights from Canada to beach and sun tourist destinations, so having this new route meets precisely this request”, said Garth Lund, CEO of the Commercial Department of Flair Airlines.
“The Canadian market is one of the most important for the destination throughout the year and mainly during this fall-winter season, where travelers from Canada choose to visit us for our warm climate and great hospitality. The arrival of Flair Airlines will allow the city to have a historic closing of the year, with an outstanding growth that will benefit the entire tourism industry of the port”, assured Luis Villaseñor, General Director of the Public Trust for the Promotion and Tourist Advertising of Puerto Vallarta.
Flair Airlines will offer an average of 1,512 seats per month. The budget airline has increased its services in Mexico as part of its expansion in the region.
