Airbus continúa con su proceso de integración mediante la creación de una nueva entidad a partir de la fusión de su estructura de grupo con su mayor División, Airbus Commercial Aircraft.

Tom Enders, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) de la compañía, ha señalado que en julio la compañía lanzó un programa de transformación centrado especialmente en la digitalización de sus principales procesos y herramientas, que tendrá un impacto en la forma en la que la compañía y sus empleados trabajarán y se organizarán.

La fusión de Airbus Group y Airbus Commercial Aircraft allana el camino de cara a una revisión de la estructura corporativa, simplificará la gobernanza, eliminará redundancias y aportará más eficiencia, a la vez que impulsará aún más la integración de todo el Grupo. Las otras dos divisiones, Defence and Space y Helicopters seguirán siendo parte integral del grupo y se beneficiarán en gran medida de la fusión gracias a un soporte empresarial más específico y a la reducción de costes, según Enders.

Los detalles de la fusión y sus posibles efectos están sujetos actualmente a conversaciones con los representantes sociales a escala corporativa, nacional y de División. Esta fusión ofrece la oportunidad de implantar una única marca Airbus que represente al Grupo y a todas sus entidades a partir de enero de 2017.

Airbus continues its integration process by creating a new entity from the merger of its group structure with its largest Division, Airbus Commercial Aircraft.

Tom Enders, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, noted that in July the company launched a transformation program especially focused on the digitization of its main processes and tools that will have an impact on the way the company and its employees work and be organized.

The merger of Airbus Group and Airbus Commercial Aircraft  and paves the way ahead of a review of the corporate structure, governance simplify, eliminate redundancies and provide more efficiency, while further boost the integration of the entire Group. The other two divisions, Defence and Space and Helicopters will remain an integral part of the group and will benefit greatly from the merger thanks to a more specific business support and cost reduction, according to Enders.

The details of the merger and its potential effects are currently subject to discussions with the social corporate representatives, national and Division level.
