Comité Interestatal de Aviación de Rusia (IAC) han otorgado certificados de tipo para aviones E170 y E175 de Embraer, allanando el camino para que las compañías aéreas rusas para adquirir los dos tipos de aeronaves.

El E190 y E195 del fueron certificados en 2012 y Saratov Airlines que vuela actualmente el E195.

«Esta certificación abre nuevas oportunidades para los dos tipos de aeronaves, que han alcanzado un éxito significativo en otras regiones del mundo», el presidente de Embraer Aviación Comercial y CEO John Slattery dijo.«Hoy en día, vemos en Rusia más de 400 aviones en la categoría de 30 a 130 asientos con una media de edad superior a 20 años, que son los candidatos naturales para la sustitución en los próximos años. Estoy seguro de que muy pronto veremos el E170 o E175 al volar en los cielos de Rusia «.

Embraer dijo que los E-Jets ya están bien establecidos en varios países en los alrededores de Rusia-Polonia, Finlandia, Bulgaria y la República de Moldova y en los países de la CEI, donde Embraer tiene clientes de E-Jets en Kazajstán, Azerbaiyán, Bielorrusia y Ucrania. 

Russia certifies Embraer E170, E175 aircraft

Russia’s Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) have awarded type certificates to Embraer’s E170 and E175 jets, paving the way for Russian airlines to acquire the two aircraft types.

The E190 and the E195 were certified in 2012 and Saratov Airlines is currently flying the E195.

“This certification opens new opportunities for the two aircraft types, which have attained significant success in other regions of the world,” Embraer Commercial Aviation president & CEO John Slattery said. “Today, we see in Russia more than 400 aircraft in the category from 30 to 130 seats with an average age exceeding 20 years, which are natural candidates for replacement in the coming years. I’m confident that very soon we will see the E170 or the E175 flying in the Russian skies.”

Embraer said the E-Jets are already well established in several countries in Russia’s vicinity—Poland, Finland, Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova—and in CIS countries where Embraer has E-Jets customers in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Ukraine. A\W
