Industria aérea mexicana crece a tasas superiores al promedio internacional

La industria aérea mexicana crece a tasas superiores al promedio internacional, ya que durante los últimos tres años el número de pasajeros se ha incrementado en más del 33 por ciento, afirmó el sábado la subsecretaria de Transporte, Yuriria Mascott Pérez.

Durante la presentación del Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner «Quetzalcoatl», la funcionaria reiteró que el desarrollo turístico sostenido, comercial y de negocios en México ha permitido que el país ocupe un sitio cada vez más relevante en la aviación internacional.

«Hoy en día las aerolíneas en México incrementan y modernizan sus flotas, por lo que este avión es el primero de hasta 100 nuevas aeronaves que reflejan el liderazgo y compromiso de Grupo Aeroméxico en nuestro creciente sector aeronáutico», indicó.

La subsecretaria señaló también que con el arribo de este avión a México, se hace patente el compromiso de la aviación con México, particularmente en el cuidado del medio ambiente y en eficientar el servicio aéreo.

Mexican airline industry grows at rates higher than the international average, as during the last three years the number of passengers has increased by more than 33 percent, said Saturday the under secretary of Transportation, Yuriria Mascott Perez.

During the presentation of the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner «Quetzalcoatl», the official reiterated that sustained, commercial and business tourism development in Mexico has allowed the country to occupy an increasingly important place in international aviation.

«Today in Mexico airlines increase and modernize their fleets, so this aircraft is the first of up to 100 new aircraft that reflect the leadership and commitment of Grupo Aeroméxico in our growing aviation industry,» he said.

The undersecretary also said that with the arrival of this aircraft to Mexico, is evident the commitment of aviation with Mexico, particularly in caring for the environment and more efficient air service. A\W
