Singapore Airlines is the launch customer of the Boeing 787-10 currently has 30 aircraft in firm order. The airline also signed a letter of intent in February to buy an additional 19 Boeing 787-10.

The 787 Dreamliner is the first major commercial aircraft that has a compound fuselage, compound wings and composites for use in most other components of the cell. Each 787 contains approximately 77,000 pounds of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP), made with 23 tonnes of carbon fiber. The Dreamliner incorporates materials made up of 19 companies including Hexcel, Toray, ATB Orbital, The Gill Corporation, TenCate and Solvay.
The plane officially debuted during President Trump’s visit to North Charleston in February and took off for the first time in April 2017.
