La aerolínea Cebu Pacific pedido en firme popr 16 A330NEO
Cebu Pacific Airlines con sede en Filipinas, ha firmado un pedido en firme con Airbus Group por 16 aviones A330NEO de largo alcance. La orden reafirma un Memorando de Entendimiento (MoU) previamente anunciado, que también incluye compromisos para 10 A321NEO XLR y cinco aviones A320NEO de pasillo único.
El A330NEO ordenado por Cebu Pacific es una versión de mayor capacidad del A330-900, con hasta 460 asientos en una configuración de clase única. Cebu Pacific planea operar el avión en rutas troncales dentro de Filipinas y el resto de Asia, así como en servicios de mayor alcance a Australia y Medio Oriente.
Lance Gokongwei, Presidente y CEO de Cebu Pacific, dijo: “El A330NEO es parte integral de nuestro programa de modernización de flota. Con esta compra, nuestro objetivo es reducir nuestras emisiones de combustible y construir una operación más sostenible. Esto también nos dará el costo más bajo por asiento, al mismo tiempo que permitirá a CEB aumentar la capacidad de asientos y maximizar las valiosas plazas de aeropuertos en Manila y otras megaciudades asiáticas”.
Christian Scherer, Director Comercial de Airbus, comentó: “Cebu Pacific es una marca de ritmo y seguramente una de las aerolíneas más respetadas y mejor administradas en el sector de bajo costo. Este nuevo pedido es otro respaldo importante para la propuesta basada en el valor que el A330NEO lleva a mercados altamente competitivos. La versión de mayor capacidad del avión desarrollado para Cebu Pacific ayudará a lograr eficiencias aún mayores para rutas regionales y de largo alcance de alta densidad”.
La familia A330NEO se basa en la probada economía, versatilidad y confiabilidad de la familia A330 existente. Al incorporar los motores Trent 7000 de última generación de Rolls-Royce y un ala nueva, el avión ofrece una reducción del consumo de combustible del 25% en comparación con los productos de la competencia de generaciones anteriores, así como una capacidad de alcance extendido de hasta 8.000 millas náuticas/15.000 kilómetros.
La cabina del A330NEO ofrece la comodidad de las comodidades de Airspace by Airbus, que incluyen sistemas de conectividad Wi-Fi de entretenimiento a bordo para pasajeros de última generación.

Cebu Pacific airline firm order for 16 A330NEO
Cebu Pacific Airlines based in the Philippines has signed a firm order with Airbus Group for 16 long-range A330NEO aircraft. The order reaffirms a previously announced Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which also includes commitments for 10 A321NEO XLR and five A320NEO single-aisle aircraft.
The A330NEO ordered by Cebu Pacific is a larger capacity version of the A330-900, with up to 460 seats in a single class configuration. Cebu Pacific plans to operate the aircraft on trunk routes within the Philippines and the rest of Asia, as well as on wider services to Australia and the Middle East.
Lance Gokongwei, President and CEO of Cebu Pacific, said: “The A330NEO is an integral part of our fleet modernization program. With this purchase, our goal is to reduce our fuel emissions and build a more sustainable operation. This will also give us the lowest cost per seat, while allowing CEB to increase seating capacity and maximize valuable airport seats in Manila and other Asian megacities”.

The A330NEO family is based on the proven economy, versatility and reliability of the existing A330 family. By incorporating the latest-generation Trent 7000 Rolls-Royce engines and a new wing, the aircraft offers a 25% reduction in fuel consumption compared to competing products from previous generations, as well as an extended reach capability of up to 8,000 nautical miles/15,000 kilometers.
The A330NEO cabin offers the comfort of Airspace by Airbus amenities, including onboard entertainment Wi-Fi connectivity systems for last-generation passengers.
