Trabajadores ex-filial argentina solicitan reunión con CEO Aerolíneas
El Jueves 07/10 los extrabajadores de Latam Airlines Argentina entregaron una carta a Pablo Ceriani, CEO de Aerolíneas Argentinas exigiendo que se garantice la continuidad laboral de los más de 3.000 trabajadores que fueron despedidos por Latam Airlines Argentina, mientras la compañía continúa volando en Argentina con servicios internacionales. En el marco de una jornada de lucha por la situación que atraviesan, realizada en el Aeropuerto Jorge Newbery/AEP, los trabajadores reclaman una respuesta y también visibilizaron su lucha, encontrando la solidaridad y el apoyo de otros trabajadores aeronáuticos. Distribuyeron copias de la carta a pasajeros y trabajadores de las distintas aerolíneas.
Latam Argentina despidió a más de tres mil trabajadores por lo que exigen que el Gobierno cumpla con los acuerdos de reubicación y continuidad laboral y piden ser reabsorbidos por Aerolíneas Argentinas: “Después de más de un año y medio y las familias que integraban el grupo Latam siguen sin trabajo. Es necesario aclarar a la opinión pública que mientras esto sucede, la empresa Latam pretende seguir lucrando con los cielos argentinos. Eso del cierre de la empresa fue una vil mentira para aplicar un plan de despidos masivos”, dijo Latam Airlines en un comunicado.
En la carta entregada al Presidente de Aerolíneas Argentinas, afirman que la actual normalización de actividades y reapertura de vuelos debe contemplar a todos los trabajadores despedidos, frente a la impunidad de la compañía aérea de continuar en el mercado de la aviación comercial sin cumplir con la continuidad laboral de los trabajadores: “Las actas firmadas por los diferentes Ministerios, los Sindicatos y empresas del sector comprometen como destaque la continuidad laboral para los compañeros de Latam. En este sentido y siendo Aerolíneas Argentinas nuestra compañía de bandera consideramos la más realista para asumir funciones en dicha empresa. Se sabe que la reactivación del sector de la aviación comercial requerirá de todos los trabajadores disponibles y capacitados para acometer la mencionada reconstrucción post-pandémica. Enfatizamos en nuestra historia y tradición de lucha la defensa irrestricta de nuestra línea de bandera. Estos no fueron solo discursos. En más de una ocasión hemos salido activamente en defensa de Aerolíneas cuando el gobierno anterior intentó vaciarla y desmantelarla. Eso nos valió persecución y hostigamiento por parte de Latam”.

Argentine ex-affiliate workers request meeting with CEO Aerolíneas
On Thursday 07/10, the former employees of Latam Airlines Argentina delivered a letter to Pablo Ceriani, CEO of Aerolíneas Argentinas demanding that the employment continuity of the more than 3,000 workers who were fired by Latam Airlines Argentina be guaranteed, while the company continues to fly in Argentina with international services. In the framework of a day of struggle for the situation they are going through, held at the Jorge Newbery Airport/AEP, the workers demand a response and also made their struggle visible, finding solidarity and support from other aeronautical workers. Copies of the letter were distributed to passengers and workers of the different airlines.
Latam Argentina laid off more than three thousand workers for which they demand that the Government comply with the relocation agreements and work continuity and ask to be reabsorbed by Aerolíneas Argentinas: “After more than a year and a half and the families that made up the Latam group they are still out of work. It is necessary to clarify to the public opinion that while this is happening, the Latam company intends to continue profiting from the Argentine skies. That of the closing of the company was a vile lie to apply a plan of massive dismissals”, said Latam Airlines in a statement.
In the letter delivered to the President of Aerolíneas Argentinas, they affirm that the current normalization of activities and the reopening of flights should contemplate all the dismissed workers, given the impunity of the airline to continue in the commercial aviation market without complying with the Work continuity of the workers: “The minutes signed by the different Ministries, Unions and companies of the sector commit, as a highlight, the work continuity for Latam colleagues. In this sense, and being Aerolíneas Argentinas our flag company, we consider the most realistic to assume functions in said company. It is known that the reactivation of the commercial aviation sector will require all available and trained workers to undertake the aforementioned post-pandemic reconstruction. We emphasize in our history and tradition of struggle the unrestricted defense of our flag line. These were not just speeches. On more than one occasion we have actively come out in defense of Aerolíneas when the previous government tried to empty it and dismantle it. That earned us persecution and harassment from Latam”.

A los usuarios.
El colectivo de trabajadoras/es de LATAM en lucha nos dirigimos a ustedes con el propósito de ponerlos en situación respecto a las familias que seguimos sin trabajo. Como ustedes saben el monopolio de LATAM utilizo la pandemia para aplicar un plan brutal contra sus propias trabajadoras/es. El despido masivo de todo su personal fue la metodología que aplico esta empresa extorsiva.
Con la creciente normalización y apertura de los vuelos y la nueva dinámica en los aeropuertos la empresa LATAM intenta volver al mercado aerocomercial argentino como si nada hubiera pasado. Desde el colectivo de trabajadoras/es estamos firmemente decididos a que semejante impunidad empresaria sea enfrentada con total rigurosidad.
Al mismo tiempo seguimos reclamando la continuidad laboral en el rubro aeronáutico para las familias que se han quedado sin trabajo. Las actas firmadas por los diferentes Ministerios, los Sindicatos del sector y empresas del rubro comprometen como punto destacado la continuidad laboral para las compañeras/os de LATAM.
En tal sentido y siendo nuestra Línea de Bandera Aerolíneas Argentinas la principal empresa del rubro consideramos lo más realistas tomar funciones en dicha empresa. Es sabido que la reactivación del rubro aerocomercial necesitara de todos los trabajadores disponibles (y capacitados) para emprender la mencionada reconstrucción post-pandémica. Destacamos en nuestro historial y tradición de lucha la defensa irrestricta de nuestra línea de bandera. Aquello no fueron solo discursos. En más de una ocasión hemos salido de manera activa en defensa de Aerolíneas cuando el Gobierno anterior intento vaciarla y desmantelarla. Aquello nos valió persecución y hostigamiento por parte de LATAM.
Por todos estos considerandos solicitamos una audiencia con el Sr Presidente de Aerolíneas Argentinas Pablo Ceriani con el fin de concretar los lazos solidarios y poner en marcha la tan necesaria continuidad laboral para las familias que se han quedado sin trabajo. La reactivación es con todos adentro.

The collective of LATAM workers in struggle is writing to you with the purpose of putting you in a situation with respect to the families that are still without work. As you know, the LATAM monopoly used the pandemic to apply a brutal plan against its own workers. The massive dismissal of all its personnel was the methodology applied by this extortionate company.
With the growing standardization and opening of flights and the new dynamics at airports, the LATAM company tries to return to the Argentine commercial aviation market as if nothing had happened. From the group of workers we are firmly determined that such business impunity be confronted with total rigor.
At the same time, we continue to demand continuity of employment in the aeronautical sector for families who have been left without work. The minutes signed by the different Ministries, the Trade Unions of the sector and companies of the sector commit as a highlight the labor continuity for the colleagues of LATAM.
In this sense and being our Flag Line Aerolíneas Argentinas the main company in the field, we consider it the most realistic to take functions in said company. It is known that the reactivation of the commercial aviation sector will require all the workers available (and trained) to undertake the aforementioned post-pandemic reconstruction. We emphasize in our history and tradition of struggle the unrestricted defense of our flag line. These weren’t just speeches. On more than one occasion we have actively come out in defense of Aerolíneas when the previous government tried to empty it and dismantle it. That earned us persecution and harassment by LATAM.
For all these considerations, we request a hearing with the President of Aerolíneas Argentinas Pablo Ceriani in order to establish solidarity ties and implement the much-needed continuity of work for families who have been left without work. The revival is with everyone inside.
