Startup italiana volará A350 en Junio 2022
La nueva aerolínea italiana ITA Airways ha anunciado la selección de la aeronave Airbus A350-900 para cubrir sus rutas internacionales. Como parte de su programación de vuelos, estará disponible hacia el próximo verano europeo. La aerolínea espera poder agregar el fuselaje ancho a la flota en Junio 2022. El CEO de ITA Airways, Fabio Lazzerini, dijo en una entrevista que el A350-900 será el avión más grande de la flota de la nueva transportadora italiana. La llegada del A350 hace posible que ITA Airways vuele largas rutas intercontinentales como Roma—Buenos Aires. Los Boeing 777 de Alitalia han sido desprogramados y retirados, mientras que la nueva aerolínea incorporará los modernos A350-900.
La flota total de ITA Airways estará complementada con Airbus A220, A320NEO, A321NEO y A330NEO, teniendo una composición all-Airbus. El objetivo de la startup es formalizar aproximadamente con treinta acuerdos con aerolíneas asociadas para compartir código, que actualmente alcanzan a diecinueve asociaciones.

The new Italian airline ITA Airways has announced the selection of the Airbus A350-900 aircraft to cover its international routes. As part of its flight schedule, it will be available towards the next European summer. The airline hopes to add the wide body to the fleet in June 2022. ITA Airways CEO Fabio Lazzerini said in an interview that the A350-900 will be the largest aircraft in the new Italian carrier’s fleet. The arrival of the A350 makes it possible for ITA Airways to fly long intercontinental routes such as Rome-Buenos Aires. Alitalia’s Boeing 777s have been deprogrammed and retired, while the new airline will incorporate the modern A350-900s.
ITA Airways’ total fleet will be complemented by Airbus A220, A320NEO, A321NEO and A330NEO, having an all-Airbus composition. The objective of the startup is to formalize approximately thirty agreements with partner airlines to share code, which currently reach nineteen associations.
