Lufthansa opera primer vuelo carga convertido A321F
Lufthansa Cargo ha realizado su primer vuelo comercial el 15 de Marzo de 2022 de un avión Airbus A321F. El vuelo LH8350 despegó de Frankfurt/FRA hacia Dublín/DUB a las 16:21 CET antes de volar a Manchester/MAN. El avión operado por la subsidiaria Lufthansa CityLine que ha desarrollado capacidad de carga en rutas intraeuropeas, ha establecido la primer conexión de un avión carguero A321P2F (Passenger to Freighter) al servicio de la aerolínea carguera Lufthansa. El avión ha sido nombrado ‘Hello Europe’, y el vuelo es visto como un paso significativo hacia el futuro para Lufthansa CityLine.
El A321F permitirá transportar una carga útil de 28 toneladas. Con un peso máximo de despegue de 89 toneladas, la aeronave puede volar a una velocidad de crucero de 840 km/h y un rango operativo de 3.500 kilómetros de autonomía con carga útil completa.
