Mientras se espera que antes de fin de año el gobierno provincial llame a licitación para construir la nueva terminal de vuelos internacionales en el aeropuerto de Rosario «Islas Malvinas», se conocieron las primeras imágenes de la impactante obra que transformará la aeroestación. En tanto, los próximos días serán clave para avanzar con el anteproyecto y el pliego correspondiente. Por un lado, se estima que hoy habrá una reunión con la empresa YPF para trasladar el área de carga de combustible, y en algunas semanas las autoridades se sentarán con los organismos nacionales que operan en el predio para definir sus espacios. Incluso, se conoció el interés de que un ramal del ferrocarril llegue hasta el edificio de Fisherton.
La llamada aeroplanta de la firma petrolífera estatal se encuentra precisamente en el lugar donde se empezará a construir el nuevo sector de Fisherton, que tendrá capacidad para recibir «cómodamente» 425 pasajeros de manera simultánea, según destacó el presidente del directorio del aeropuerto, Raúl Garo.
El funcionario puso de manifiesto que el espacio destinado a los surtidores para carga de combustible y otras máquinas deberá «mudarse» unos 500 metros hacia el norte del lugar que ocupa en la actualidad. Al menos eso es lo que se consensuará hoy con los referentes de la compañía nacionalizada durante la gestión del Frente para la Victoria (FPV).
Por su parte, la reunión con la Dirección Nacional de Migraciones, de Aduanas y la Policía de Seguridad Aeroportuaria (PSA), tendrá como objetivo establecer con más detalles dónde estarán ubicadas las oficinas correspondientes y sus sectores de atención al público.
Es que el actual plan no contiene todavía esos ámbitos de importancia con sitios definitivos, sino ideas que aún deben definirse en conjunto.
De todos modos, el anteproyecto debería concluirse a fines de este mes.
En tren. Entre otras novedades, una de las propuestas que los responsables pretenden llevar adelante con el gobierno provincial es la construcción de una parada o mini estación ferroviaria a pocas cuadras del aeropuerto. La idea es aprovechar los actuales planes de expansión del tren y, precisamente, el eje este-oeste de la línea que antiguamente iba hasta Cañada de Gómez.
«Se trata de otro proyecto fundamental que permitirá la conexión con Buenos Aires o la estación Rosario Norte para, en este último caso, evitar el uso del taxi en lo que respecta a pasajeros», dijo Garo, quien incluso sumó cuestiones más macro, como la posibilidad de añadir el ferrocarril para complementar las cargas de importación o exportación.
Por lo pronto, la primera etapa contempla la terminal para vuelos al exterior sobre la que también deberá opinar la Asociación Internacional de Transporte Aéreo (Iata), que tendrá a su cargo velar por el cumplimiento de normas ligadas a los escritorios de las líneas aéreas, corralitos de embarque y butacas para la espera de pasajeros, entre otras cuestiones.
Garo también reveló que el nuevo edificio tendrá los más modernos estándares internacionales en función de los servicios como bares, restaurantes y áreas de free shop.
La inversión total de obras ligadas al aeropuerto es de 450 millones de pesos e incluye la terminal en cuestión, que podría finalizarse en dos años, y, más a futuro, conexiones viales con las autopistas a Córdoba y Santa Fe, además de varias cuestiones más.
