Ministro Transporte Dietrich: “En la Argentina no hay ni habrá política de cielos abiertos”
El ministro de Transporte se refirió así a la política que implica que un avión con tripulación extranjera pueda hacer rutas de cabotaje entre dos ciudades del país.
El ministro de Transporte, Guillermo Dietrich, afirmó que en la Argentina “no hay ni habrá política de cielos abiertos”, y adelantó que Aerolíneas incorporará nuevos aviones y sumará rutas de cabotaje e internacionales.
En una columna de opinión publicada hoy en el diario La Nación, el titular de la cartera de Transporte indicó que un tema recurrente sobre el que ha recibido muchas consultas es el de la política de cielos abiertos.
“Cielos abiertos significa que un avión con tripulación extranjera pueda hacer rutas de cabotaje entre dos ciudades del país. Quiero ser claro: en la Argentina, y en línea con lo que sucede en la mayoría de los países del mundo, no hay ni habrá política de cielos abiertos”, sentenció Dietrich.
Por otra parte, sobre Aerolíneas Argentinas adelantó que “vamos a incrementar y modernizar la flota y a comprar nuevos aviones para que los argentinos viajen mejor en una aerolínea confiable, segura, que no pierde plata y que nos llene de orgullo”.
Destacó además que “hace nueve meses que el sector aéreo argentino está creciendo a tasas que no veíamos desde hacía mucho tiempo. Esto se ve reflejado en que cada vez más argentinos están volando. Por ejemplo, en lo que va del año volaron 6 millones de pasajeros de cabotaje, Aerolíneas Argentinas creció un 9% respecto de 2015 y LAN Argentina, un 6%”.
También remarcó que la nueva administración “logró reducir el déficit de la empresa, que este año representa la mitad que el año pasado y será aún menor el próximo”, y que “el equipo de Aerolíneas logró un récord de puntualidad. El servicio que brinda hoy es de los mejores de su historia; cada vez más gente elige la compañía”.
Dietrich afirmó que el Presidente Mauricio Macri “nos encomendó una misión clara: unir a los argentinos para hacer un país verdaderamente federal y duplicar el mercado de cabotaje en cuatro años”, y destacó que “en estos primeros meses, Aerolíneas y Austral están volando más que el año anterior”.
Anunció además que “a partir de octubre habilitaremos la nueva ruta que une Córdoba con Iguazú”, y destacó que “se trata de 260 frecuencias mensuales más en vuelos domésticos que las que había el año pasado”, como también “se aumentaron las frecuencias a Roma, Barcelona y Miami”.
El ministro recordó que “para generar mayor conectividad para los argentinos, habilitamos nuevas rutas internacionales dentro del marco de los acuerdos bilaterales, como los vuelos Salta-Lima, de Latam Perú; Mendoza-Lima, de Latam Argentina, o Rosario-Panamá, de Copa Airlines, algo que la gente y los gobernadores venían reclamando desde hacía mucho tiempo”.
