Un Memorandun de Entendimiento (MoU) reforzaría la red de servicios en la Polinesia

El Primer Ministro de Samoa, Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi, ha confirmado que su país ha firmado un memorando de entendimiento (MoU) con Fiji Airways, con las intenciones de reanudar vuelos entre Samoa, Nueva Zelanda y Australia. Aunque no se arrojó más detalles sobre el MoU en el Parlamento, desean que las tarifas aéreas entre Samoa, Nueva Zelanda y Australia, que son demasiado elevadas, sean accesibles conformando asociaciones entre aerolíneas. Recomienda que las compañías aéreas de la Polinesia entren en una empresa conjunta con otra línea aérea para proporcionar vuelos desde Samoa a los dos destinos, a un precio asequible.

La aerolínea nacional de Samoa trabajará con Fiji Airways para proporcionar servicios de vuelo y no competir en las rutas. El gobierno de Samoa tiene intenciones de cambiar el nombre de Polinesian Airlines a Samoa Airways, pues expresaron que la aerolínea de Samoa debe llevar el nombre de “Samoa” para que se sepa la línea aérea pertenece al país. Samoa‘s Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi has confirmed that his country has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fiji Airways, with the intention of resuming flights between Samoa, New Zealand and Australia. Although more details about the MoU in Parliament have not been released, they want the air fares between Samoa, New Zealand and Australia, which are too high, to be accessible by forming partnerships between airlines. It recommends that Polynesian Airlines enter into a joint venture with another airline to provide flights from Samoa to the two destinations, at an affordable price.

The national airline of Samoa will work with Fiji Airways to provide flight services and not compete on routes. The Samoa government intends to change the name of Polinesian Airlines to Samoa Airways, saying that the airline of Samoa should be named “Samoa” to know the airline belongs to the country.
