Airbus parece perder el esperado vuelo inaugural del A330NEO, pero el primer avión ha sido trasladado a la división de prueba de vuelo
El primer vuelo de prueba ha sido pospuesto varias veces, debido a problemas con los nuevos motores. Se estima el primer vuelo inaugural para octubre 2017. Un A330-900, ha sido entregado al equipo de prueba de vuelo. Esto aclara el camino, agrega, para un vuelo inaugural “en las próximas semanas”, aunque Airbus aún no ha indicado una fecha probable.
Inicialmente, Airbus tenía como objetivo la entrada en servicio del Twinjet de Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 a finales de este año. Pero los retrasos en el desarrollo, en particular los grupos motrices, han forzado el deslizamiento del horario. TAP Portugal tiene la intención de ser el primer operador en recibir la entrega, en 2018.
El A330NEO tiene una interesante cartera de pedidos: AirAsia X (66), Arkia (2), Delta Air Lines (25), Garuda Indonesia (14), Hawaiian Airlines (6), Iran Air (28) y TAP Portugal (12), Air Lease Corporation (25), Avolon (15), BOC Aviación (2) y CIT (15).

The first test flight has been postponed several times, due to problems with the new engines. The first inaugural flight is estimated for October 2017. An A330-900 has been delivered to the flight test team. This clears the way, he adds, for an inaugural flight “in the coming weeks,” although Airbus has yet to give a likely date.
Initially, Airbus was targeting the Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 Twinjet entry into service later this year. But developmental delays, in particular the motor groups, have forced the slip of the schedule. TAP Portugal intends to be the first operator to receive delivery in 2018.
