Travel Service adquiere control de Czech Airlines

La aerolínea checa Travel Service, copropiedad del Grupo CEFC de China, acordó comprar las participaciones del gobierno checo en la compañía checa Czech Airlines (CSA) para tomar casi la plena propiedad de la firma.

Travel Service, que ya tiene una participación de 34% en CSA, no quiso hacer comentarios, pero dijo que emitiría un comunicado el viernes. En tanto Korean Air posee una participación de 44% en CSA, mientras que el estado tiene un 19,7%.

El grupo chino de inversiones CEFC tiene una participación del 49,9% en Travel Service, un operador de vuelos charter y bajo coste bajo la marca Smartwings. El fundador Jiri Simane y socios comerciales controlan el resto.

Czech airline Travel Service, co-owned by China’s CEFC Group, agreed to buy shares from the Czech government in the Czech company Czech Airlines (CSA) to take almost full ownership of the firm.

Travel Service, which already has a 34% stake in CSA, declined to comment, but said it would issue a statement Friday. While Korean Air holds a 44% stake in CSA, while the state has a 19.7% share.

Chinese investment group CEFC holds a 49.9% stake in Travel Service, a low-cost charter operator under the Smartwings brand. Founder Jiri Simane and business partners control the rest. A \ W
