Controles migratorios de Argentina impiden entrada a personas con antecedentes penales

A principios de 2017, el Gobierno de Argentina decidió intensificar los controles migratorios e impedirles la entrada a la nación a extranjeros que tuvieran antecedentes delictivos en sus países.

La norma fue implementada mediante el decreto de necesidad y urgencia 70/2017 que rubricó el ejecutivo nacional, el Presidente Mauricio Macri, el 27 de enero, y con la puesta en marcha del dispositivo de Información Anticipada de Pasajeros. A través de este mecanismo, las aerolíneas que funcionan en el territorio empezaron a comunicar a Migraciones los datos de cada usuario media hora antes de partir.

A raíz de esto, luego de ser rechazado en Chile, Mike Tyson, el excampeón de los peso pesados quiso viajar a la ciudad de Buenos Aires, pero la Oficina de Migraciones le solicitó a Aerolíneas Argentinas que no lo dejara embarcar por tener antecedentes penales. Mike Tyson, de 51 años, pretendía viajar a Argentina en el vuelo AR 1285 de Aerolíneas Argentinas, que llegó a las 18:42 a Aeroparque.

Según fuentes oficiales, al detectar que Mike Tyson pretendía ir al país desde Santiago, donde fue rechazado, personal de Migraciones se comunicó por teléfono con la gerencia de la aerolínea a fin de solicitar que no procediera el embarque de Mike Tyson. Las razones eran que tiene en su haber antecedentes delictivos en los Estados Unidos.
