JetSmart Airlines Argentina absorverá completamente Norwegian Air Argentina para Marzo 2020

JetSmart Airlines Argentina continúa su fuerte expansión en Argentina adquiriendo la firma Norwegian Air Argentina el 4 Diciembre 2019 ampliando la participación del mercado argentino. Esta transacción permitirá a JetSmat adquirir rutas importantes desde donde opera actualmente Norwegian Air Argentina, en Aeroparque. Con la adquisición de una de sus competidoras en el sector aéreo, a partir del año próximo pasaría a captar alrededor del 11% del mercado de cabotaje, una importante cuota en tiempos de crisis.

JetSmart Argentina, 1er Aniversario

La aerolínea low cost JetSmart Airlines Argentina festeja esta semana su primer aniversario en la Argentina. Con la sinergia de ambas aerolíneas, la empresa JetSmart Argentina ha comenzado a promocionar vuelos desde y hacia Aeroparque, donde opera con la flota de Norwegian Argentina. La compañía JetSmart Airlines Argentina ha informado que durante sus primero doce meses en el país, transportó más de 500.000 pasajeros. Actualmente posee una fuerza laboral directa más de 300 colaboradores. La low cost cuenta con la flota de cuatro aviones Airbus A320CEO (A320-200) directos de fábrica.

Estuardo Ortiz, CEO de JetSmart Airlines Argentina expresó: “Hace un año asumimos el compromiso de dar la posibilidad a un número cada vez mayor de argentinos la experiencia de volar con una operación de altísima calidad, con empleo directo para los argentinos. Hoy podemos decir que estamos cumpliendo con nuestra palabra y que más de 500.000 personas ya viajaron con nosotros en el país”.

El arribo de JetSmart a las provincias ha contribuido de forma clara y concreta al desarrollo de las economías regionales. JetSmart Airlines Argentina une diez provincias argentinas entre ellas Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Mendoza, Tucumán, Salta, Río Negro, Misiones, Neuquén, Tierra del Fuego, Santa Fe y Jujuy. La red de servicos en Argentina contempla que la mitad de las rutas son federales y unen puntos de la Argentina con vuelos directos sin pasar por Buenos Aires. “Por cada aeropuerto al que llega JetSmmart se abren posibilidades de negocio para nueve pymes locales como proveedores de servicios. Además desde JetSmart contribuimos a incrementar en doble dígito la cantidad de pasajeros que se suman a cada ciudad, impulsando el turismo y las posibilidades de negocio de las empresas locales. La experiencia con Salta-Neuquén y Rosario-Neuquén son una muestra clara de ello”, explicó Gonzalo Perez Corral, Gerente General de JetSmart en Argentina.
