Airbus Group estaría impulsando adquirir totalidad acciones del Programa A220
Airbus Group estaría en condiciones de adquirir la totalidad del Programa A220 por la participación restante de Bombardier Inc. informaron el Viernes 07/02 fuentes consultadas del ámbito aeroespacial. Un acuerdo entre Bombardier Inc. y Airbus Group avanzarían para completar la compra de la participación del 33,58% de Bombardier. El acuerdo no está finalizado todavía, pero se espera para la próxima semana, antes de las ganancias de ambas compañías el 13 Febrero 2020.
Airbus y Bombardier ingresaron formalmente en la alianza en el Programa A220 para ayudar a la compañía canadiense a posicionar a la nueva aeronave regional en las carteras de las aerolíneas mundiales. Airbus Canadá adquirió una participación mayoritaria del 50.01% en el Programa CSeries en Octubre 2017, y el acuerdo ha sido concluido en Julio 2018. Como parte del acuerdo, Bombardier retuvo una participación del 33,58% en el avión y Investissement Québec el 16,41%. En Agosto 2019, Airbus abrió una segunda línea de montaje para el avión en su fábrica de Mobile, Alabama. Si continúan las negociaciones para que Airbus Canada completase la compra de las acciones de Bombardier Inc., Airbus Canada pasaría a formalizar la tenencia del 83,59% del paquete accionarial, mientras que Investissement Québec continuaría conservando el 18,09% de las acciones.

Airbus Group would be able to acquire the entire A220 Program for the remaining participation of Bombardier Inc., sources consulted in the aerospace field reported on Friday 07/02. An agreement between Bombardier Inc. and Airbus Group would advance to complete the purchase of the 33.58% stake in Bombardier. The agreement is not finalized yet, but it is expected next week, before the profits of both companies on February 13, 2020.
Airbus and Bombardier formally entered the alliance in the A220 Program to help the Canadian company position the new regional aircraft in the portfolios of world airlines. Airbus Canada acquired a 50.01% majority stake in the CSeries Program in October 2017, and the agreement was concluded in July 2018. As part of the agreement, Bombardier retained a 33.58% stake in the plane and Investissement Québec 16.41%. In August 2019, Airbus opened a second assembly line for the plane at its factory in Mobile, Alabama. If negotiations continue for Airbus Canada to complete the purchase of the shares of Bombardier Inc., Airbus Canada would formalize the holding of 83.59% of the shareholding package, while Investissement Québec would continue to retain 18.09% of the shares.
