Unificación de aerolíneas bajo nombre Iberojet
Ávoris, una división de viajes del Grupo Barceló, ha anunciado que unificará sus aerolíneas, la española Evelop! y portuguesa Orbest, bajo una única marca denominada Iberojet, denominación utilizada anteriormente para designar al operador turístico online del grupo. Ahora servirá para unir a las dos líneas áreas bajo una única imagen corporativa. “Tener dos marcas complica el posicionamiento, duplica el trabajo y los recursos de marketing», afirmó Paul Verhagen, subdirector de Evelop!.
El lanzamiento de la nueva marca coincidirá con la puesta en marcha de los vuelos regulares a finales de Marzo 2021. Ambas líneas aéreas estaban enfocadas hasta ahora en las operaciones chárter, pero han informado iniciar operaciones regulares. Paul Verhagen destaca que Iberojet es una marca que puede ser fácilmente reconocida y comprendida y que ya tienen registrada y cuentan con su dominio web. Además establece una asociación entre los dos grandes mercados de Ávoris, España y Portugal, que conforman la Península Ibérica. Actualmente, la flota está compuesta por siete aviones: seis de larga distancia Airbus A330-300 (4), con capacidad de hasta 388 plazas, Airbus A330-200 (1) con 19 plazas Business y 268 plazas Economy y Airbus A350 (1) con 432 plazas y un avión de corta distancia Airbus A320 (1), con capacidad para 180 pasajeros.
