Paris Air Show 2021 ha sido cancelado debido pandemia
Los organizadores del Salón Aéreo de París Air Show anunciaron este 7 de diciembre de 2020 que la edición de la feria francesa para el año 2021, programada para el 21 al 27 de Junio 2021 ha sido cancelada a la luz de la incertidumbre vinculada a la actual crisis de salud del Covid-19. El próximo Paris Air Show se celebrará en Junio de 2023, con fechas específicas que pronto se publicarán.
La junta directiva tanto del International Paris Air Show como de la asociación francesa de industrias aeroespaciales GIFAS, cuya filial SIAE organiza el evento bienal, acordaron por unanimidad saltarse el evento en respuesta a la pandemia y al gran número de visitantes a los que atrae el espectáculo. Los expositores recibirán reembolsos completos de todas las cantidades ya pagadas y el Salón Aéreo de París asumirá toda la responsabilidad financiera por la decisión, dijeron los organizadores. «Obviamente estamos decepcionados de no poder celebrar la edición de 2021 del Salón Aéreo de París. Después de muchos meses de todas las actividades de ferias en todo el mundo, toda la comunidad aeroespacial y de defensa internacional estaba deseando poder reunirse. Ya hemos comenzado a trabajar para garantizar que la edición de 2023 celebre el resurgimiento de la industria aeroespacial a escala internacional», dijo Patrick Daher, Presidente del Salón Aéreo Internacional de París y presidente del Grupo Daher.
