JetSmart Airlines inicia certificación en Perú
JetSmart Airlines la aerolínea low cost del grupo del fondo de inversiones americano Indigo Partrners Inc. con más de cuatro años volando desde Chile y Argentina hacia diversos países de la región, es parte del crecimiento de la aerolínea bajo la modalidad ultra bajo costo en Sudamérica. Como parte de su política de expansión, ha presentado esta semana oficialmente la carta de solicitud de permiso de Certificado Operador Aéreo (AOC) ante la Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC) de la República de Perú, iniciando el proceso de cumplimentación de regulaciones y requisitos operacionales para constituirse como aerolínea peruana.
JetSmart Airlines Chile posee rutas internacionales a Perú desde 2017, conectando a Lima, Arequipa y Trujillo con Santiago de Chile. La aerolínea apuesta por su expansión en la región, “abriendo próximamente vuelos domésticos a nivel nacional, lo que permitirá seguir conectando a miles de familias en todo el Perú“, expresa el comunicado de la compañía.

Con su política de precios bajos SMART de precios ultra bajos y un servicio de alta calidad, seguridad, confiabilidad y puntualidad continuará permitiendo ofrecer el mejor servicio en Sudamérica. “Durante la pandemia hemos seguido en búsqueda de oportunidades para nuestro crecimiento y creemos que el mercado doméstico en Perú es una de ellas. Ya volamos desde 2017 a Lima, Arequipa y Trujillo desde Santiago, y es el momento de iniciar el proceso de nuestra certificación como línea aérea en el Perú. Esperamos que la recuperación de mercado se acelere en la segunda mitad de 2021 y en 2022, para poder llevarle el viaje SMART a todos los peruanos. Desde el inicio de nuestra operación hemos marcado un antes y un después, en hacer más accesible el viaje en avión, ofreciendo precios bajos y rutas SMART conectando ciudades secundarias, así como dándole a los clientes la elección y la flexibilidad que buscan. En este contexto el mercado peruano ha demostrado crecer de forma continua por muchos años y se espera que retome esa tendencia conforme las restricciones de viajar disminuyan. A la fecha la compañía ha transportado más de 7 millones de pasajeros de forma segura, confiable y a tiempo en Chile, así como a más de 1 millón de pasajeros en Argentina con gran proyección de crecimiento”, señaló Estuardo Ortiz, CEO de JetSmart Airlines en la comunicación a los medios.
Actualmente, JetSmart opera vuelos domésticos en Chile y Argentina, cubriendo destinos a Colombia, Brasil y Perú, con la perspectiva de conectar más destinos en América Latina. JetSmart Arilines, que actualmente opera más rutas que antes de la pandemia, siguiendo su estrategia de posicionamiento como aerolínea ultra low cost (Ultra Low Cost Carrier/ULCC), como transportadora líder de la región.

JetSmart Airlines begins certification in Perú
JetSmart Airlines, the low cost airline of the group of the American investment fund Indigo Partrners Inc., with more than four years flying from Chile and Argentina to various countries in the region, is part of the airline’s growth under the ultra-low cost mode in South America.
