Aerolínea low cost argentina suma dos aeronaves adicionales

Flybondi Líneas Aéreas ha anunciado recientemente la incorporación de su quinta y sexta aeronave Boeing 737-800 Next Generation a la flota de la compañía de presupuesto argentina. La low cost había anunciado anteriormente un freno en la incorporación de más capacidad para aumentar la el número de aviones en vista de las dificultades de la nueva variante de coronavirus Ómicron. Las nuevas incorporaciones de aeronaves corresponden al quinto Boeing 737-800 matrícula LV-KCD que ha despegado este Viernes 14/01 del Aeropuerto Internacional de Toulouse-Blagnac en ruta a Buenos Aires, Argentina, siendo Macquarie AirFinance el propietaria de la aeronave. El nuevo avión tiene capacidad para transportar hasta 189 pasajeros en una configuración all-Econemy, mientras que espera recibir un sexto avión el próximo mes de Febrero de 2022.

El CEO de Flybonfi, Mauricio Sana, dijo recientemente en un comunicado: “Después de la recuperación lograda en 2021, anunciamos un plan de crecimiento para los próximos dos años que será histórico para Flybondi y tendrá un gran impacto positivo en el país. Queremos duplicar el número de pasajeros que vuelan con nosotros hoy, y para eso, agregaremos el doble de aviones a nuestra flota en los próximos seis meses, además de nuevos destinos internacionales y nacionales y más frecuencias. Este plan nos permitirá contratar a 450 personas, creando nuevos puestos de trabajo en la industria. Estamos convencidos, como lo hemos hecho desde el primer día, de nuestro propósito: que todas las personas tengan la libertad de volar, con las mejores tarifas del mercado y con un excelente servicio. Ya estamos volando a la región, y estamos emocionados de que los argentinos, brasileños y uruguayos puedan viajar con nosotros. Después de más de un año y medio sin volar internacionalmente, volvimos con un muy buen factor de ocupación, lo que demuestra la recuperación que atraviesa el sector”.

El aumento de la flota permitirá a Flybondi aumentar hacia el 1Q2022 con seis Boeing 737-800 con una edad promedio de 16,8 años y alcanzar un flujo de tráfico aéreo captando US$ 420 millones en valores económicos a pesar de llos anuncios de las nuevas bandas tarifarias que desalientan una mejora en el precio de los tickets aéreos. Actualmente, Flybondi reinició sus conexiones aéreas regionales en Diciembre de 2021 alcanzando volar desde Buenos Aires/Ezeiza hacia Río de Janeiro/GIG, Sao Paulo/GRU y Florianópolis/FLN en Brasil, y Punta del Este/PDP, en Uruguay. La red doméstica comprende trece destinos: Buenos Aires, Bariloche, Corrientes, Córdoba, Jujuy, Mendoza, Neuquén, Posadas, Iguazú, Salta, Santiago del Estero, Trelew y Tucumán, incorporanddo un nuevo destino desde Enero 2022, Ushuaia. Actualmente, Flybondi posee una participación de mercado doméstico de alrededor del 15%, permitiendo expandirse más en el desarrollo de las operaciones internacionales.
