Andes Líneas Aéreas incorporará una segunda aeronave Boeing 737-800 Next Generation para ampliar la demanda de rutas en Argentina. El avión estaría arribando próximamente.
El nuevo Boeing 737-85F salió de fábrica con con S/N: 30567 LN:761. Reallizó su primer vuelo 15/01/2001. Están potenciado con 2 motores CFMI CFM56-7B27, una configuración de pasajeros C16 / Y150. El 737-800 tiene una edad de 16,5 años.
Originalmente voló por primera vez con South African Airways el 31/01/2001 arrendado de GATX, con matrícula ZS-SJJ. Posteriormente fue alquilado a Firefly, una compañía malaya, el 01/05/2011 con registro 9M-FFE. Malaysia Airlines incorpora el Boeing 737-800 el 01/12/2011, tomando matrícula 9M-FFE y financiado por Macquarie Airfinance. El Boeing 737-85F es almacenado el 11/2016. Andes Líneas Aéreas lo incorpora a su flota con fecha 14/07/2017, próximamente a su arribo a Argentina.
