El primer Boeing 737-800 de Qantas Airways ha entrado en servicio después de ser repintado en Singapur
El avión, con matrícula VH-VXM, operó el vuelo ferry QF72 de Singapur a Perth el jueves por la noche. La aeronave es la primera de la línea 737NG en ser retocado con su nueva imagen institucional. El logotipo actualizado fue lanzado en octubre de 2016 para coincidir con los planes para introducir el Boeing 787 en servicio a finales de 2017.
Qantas ha modificado por quinta vez la imagen del “canguro” desde que inició operaciones apareció en 1944, y la primera actualización de la librea desde 2007 antes de la introducción del Airbus A380 en servicio al año siguiente. Qantas dijo que la marca mejorada se completará en toda la flota cuando la aerolínea celebra su centenario en 2020.

The VH-VXM aircraft operated the QF72 ferry flight from Singapore to Perth on Thursday night. The aircraft is the first of the 737NG line to be retouched with its new institutional image. The updated logo was launched in October 2016 to coincide with plans to introduce the Boeing 787 into service by the end of 2017.
Qantas has modified for the fifth time the image of the “kangaroo” since it began operations appeared in 1944, and the first update of the livery since 2007 before the introduction of the Airbus A380 in service the following year.
