El Aeropuerto Internacional de Rosario (SAAR/ROS) tiene planificado la ampliación de la plataforma del aeropuerto con una inversión de $550 millones de pesos
El inicio de las obras está estipulada para el mes de octubre 2017 con una duración de 90 días. Las reformas y construcción no afectarán el desempeño de la operatividad del aeropuerto ni de las líneas aéreas.
El plan que se ejecutará en el 4Q2017 viene a mejorar el posicionamiento del Aeropuerto Internacional Rosario después de varios conflictos por el estado de la pista y la plataforma. Este proyecto potenciará las necesidades de una demanda creciente que está experimentando Rosario.
Un nuevo sistema de balizamiento está previsto incorporar, como así la readecuación de pavimentos y ampliación de los márgenes de las dos principales calles de rodaje denominadas Alfa y Bravo y se instalará un nuevo sistema de ayudas visuales, permitiendo adecuarse mejor a las normas y recomendaciones, siguiendo las recomendaciones de los organismos de aviación internacionales como la Organización de Aviación Civil Internacional (OACI).
Aumento tráfico
La cantidad de pasajeros internacionales que volaron entre el Aeropuerto Internacional de Rosario y el exterior se triplicó en los últimos dos años. En lo que va del 2017, ya viajaron 243.000 personas, triplicándose la cantidad que viajaron en el mismo período del año 2015. La misma tendencia se replicó a nivel país, con pasajeros que vuelan al exterior sin pasar por Buenos Aires.
Según los datos estadísticos elaborados por la Empresa Argentina de Navegación Aérea (Eana), a partir del Sistema Integrado de Aviación (SIAC), entre enero y julio de este año volaron entre Rosario y el exterior unas 243 mil personas. Es el triple de personas que viajaron durante el mismo periodo de 2015, cuando volaron 82.000 pasajeros internacionales, y más del doble de personas que viajaron en 2016, 108.000 pasajeros internacionales.
Debido al aumento actual y las proyecciones futuras, el 28 de agosto 2017 el Aeropuerto Rosario sabrirá sobres con las propuestas para la ampliación de las mejoras de la aeroestación. Las obras contemplan la reconstrucción total de los 32.200 metros cuadrados que integran la actual plataforma mas la incorporación de 36.800 metros cuadrados de superficie que estará ubicada en el sector oeste y norte del aeropuerto.
