El Aeropuerto Internacional Denver incorporaría 39 puertas de embarques adicionales

El Concejo Municipal de Denver votó el lunes por la noche para permitir que el Aeropuerto Internacional de Denver agregue más portones de embarques.

Las nuevas puertas de embarques se instalarán en el aeropuerto en 2021. El proyecto de expansión prevee 39 puertas de embarques adicionales para el Aeropuerto Internacional de Denver (KDEN/DEN), también llamado por sus siglas en inglés DIA. El costo de las obras es de un valor de U$D 65 millones de dólares. Las nuevas puertas que se instalarán abrirán paso a más tráfico de pasajeros.

Algunos creen que se agilizará los chequeos para embarques, otros critican el tamaño de Denver y le llevará más tiempo llegar de un extremo al otro del aeropuerto. Pero más puertas significarán más tráfico, líneas de seguridad más largas, más equipaje, más personas. El portavoz de DIA, Heath Montgomery, dice que el Aeropuerto de Denver ha dedicado mucho tiempo a los desafíos futuros de la infraestructura como a la viabilidad de las nuevas compuertas que se instalarán.

The Denver International Airport would incorporate 39 additional boarding gates

The Denver City Council voted Monday night to allow Denver International Airport to add more boarding gates. The new boarding gates will be installed at the airport in 2021. The expansion project foresees 39 additional boarding gates for the Denver International Airport (KDEN/ DEN), also known by its acronym DIA. The cost of the works is worth U$D 65 million. The new doors that will be installed will open the way for more passenger traffic.

Some believe that shipping checks will be expedited, others will criticize the size of Denver and it will take longer to get from one end of the airport to the other. But more  boarding gates will mean more traffic, longer security lines, more luggage, more people. DIA spokesman Heath Montgomery says that Denver Airport has spent a lot of time on future infrastructure challenges such as the viability of the new floodgates that will be installed. A \ W
